This paper is mainly aimed at the present situation of the relatively complicated text reading reaction and the blank of teaching reference. "Bringing in the wine" is the master work of Drinking Poems written by Li Bai. It was chosen into "Ancient Chinese Prose and Poetry Appreciation" series as optional teaching materials in senior middle school after the new curriculum reform, which shows its high artistic value and deep influence. Naturally, scholars have studied the text deeply and widely from various angles and rich contents. However, facing such messy and complex research, it is especially important how a Chinese teacher guides students to read it and apply the results of research to teaching effectively. In this paper, I summarize the present situation of the text reading from four aspects: interpretation from multiple perspectives, comparative reading, wine culture and the research of its text connotation as well as the reading teaching of the text. Particularly, I not only express the personal interpretation about aesthetic connotation of wine, but also do some moral education in class using the connotation of wine according to the text. I hope I will explore the teaching practice in the optional course more effectively on this basis.
