Modern prose,as an essential learning content in Chinese reading teaching in middle schools,can be said to be the most important and difficult point in Chinese teaching in middle schools.As the main body of classroom learning,junior high school students gradually tend to abstract their thinking,enhance their self-awareness,and the knowledge taught by teachers is far from enough.They begin to actively explore the connotation of the text.As a teaching mode of personalized reading for students," multiple interpretation" has been favored by scholars and front-line teachers since its introduction.Guiding students to make a reasonable and multiple interpretation of the text is conducive to expanding students' thinking space and promoting students' moral cultivation and emotional edification.However,there are still many problems in the teaching of modern prose in junior high schools.On the basis of predecessors' research on modern prose teaching and multi-interpretation and starting from the current situation of modern prose reading teaching in junior high school,this paper analyzes the problems and causes in teaching,and discusses the multi-interpretation methods of modern prose in junior high school combined with actual teaching cases,so as to improve students' Chinese reading ability and improve the quality of Chinese reading teaching.This article mainly uses qualitative research,qualitative observation and case study to study the multiple interpretations of modern prose selected from junior high school Chinese textbooks.Besides introduction and conclusion,the body consists of three parts: The first part summarizes the multiple interpretations and junior high school modern prose reading teaching respectively.First,it summarizes the connotation of multi-interpretation and analyzes the realistic basis of multi-interpretation combined with relevant theoretical basis.Second,it defines the concept of junior high school modern prose,expounds the classification of junior high school modern prose,and clarifies the important position of junior high school modern prose in PEP junior high school Chinese teaching materials and senior high school examination papers.Third,the paper integrates the related discussion of multiple interpretation and modern prose reading teaching in junior high school,and discusses it from four aspects: text,teachers,students and curriculum standards,so as to clarify the value and significance of multiple interpretation in modern prose reading teaching in junior high school.The second part is about the problems and causes of modern prose reading teaching in junior high schools.This part through the practice investigation and the case analysis to understand the junior high school modern prose teaching present situation,discusses the junior high school modern prose reading teaching existence question and the reason.The third part is about the practice of reading modern prose in junior high school.This part mainly aims at the existing problems raised in the second part and gives corresponding countermeasures respectively,namely,grasping the basic principles of multi-interpretation of modern prose reading teaching in junior high school,creating the necessary conditions for multi-interpretation of modern prose reading teaching in junior high school,innovating the specific methods of multi-interpretation of modern prose reading teaching in junior high school,and ensuring the smooth progress of multi-interpretation of modern prose in junior high school.
