Sports and health course is an important condition to realize the objective of school physical education teaching, is the important basis of teachers and students in teaching activities. It is also an important basis for teachers and students to carry out teaching activities. Since the implementation of the new curriculum standards, school sports has gradually set up the guiding ideology of "health first". We are paying attention to the choice of teaching content and the diversity of teaching methods, and promoting the healthy development of students in physical, psychological and social adaptability. The reasonable organization forms of physical education teaching can improve the efficiency of physical education teaching, mobilize the enthusiasm of students' physical education and the enthusiasm of participating. It has important practical significance in the process of sports teaching. Module teaching is the main way to achieve the goal of physical education, and sports module teaching is a major measure of the reform of physical education teaching. It will ultimately be specific to the implementation. To ensure the implementation of the physical education module teaching, we need the development of a reasonable teaching mode, and the distribution of students teaching conditions of unified coordination. We also need the subjectivity and self initiative of the students to complete it. This kind of module teaching gives a higher request to high school physical education teachers and students.This thesis comprehensively uses the literature method, questionnaire survey, interview method method to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, the opportunities and threats of physical education and health curriculum modules of high schools in Changsha. According to the new curriculum standard, there are five suggestions. First, from the perspective of physical education teachers, we should further improve the professional skills and theoretical knowledge, and train all-round physical education teachers. Second, from the aspect of students, we should adhere to the guiding ideology of health first, and the center of students' development, fully reflect the students' autonomy. Third, from the teaching point of view, we should center on the combination of sports objective law and a variety of teaching methods.Fourth, we should build a diversified evaluation system. Finally, we should change the school environment.
