Physical education module teaching is a teaching mode actively advocated by the Ministry of Education and extended in the new round of curriculum reform.It plays an incomparable role in improving the quality of physical education teaching,mobilizing students' enthusiasm for learning,and cultivating students' awareness of lifelong sports.At present,the module teaching of physical education and health course in senior high schools in Hainan Province is in a dilemma,which hinders the further implementation of the new curriculum reform.In order to promote the extensive application of physical education module teaching in Hainan Province,this paper takes 16 representative high schools in Hainan Province as the object of investigation,using the methods of literature,field investigation,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis,etc.,to analyze and discuss the bottleneck of the current implementation of the module teaching of physical education and health course in senior high schools in Hainan Province,and put forward the path analysis.The results show that there are the following problems in the implementation of the module teaching of physical education and health course in high schools in Hainan Province:The teaching management process is absent and the leaders pay little attention to it;Lack of teachers,blocked the implementation of modular teaching;the teachers' quality is uneven is difficult to guarantee the teaching quality;material resources are uneven and limit teaching content;the difficulty of organization and management makes it difficult to continue the module teaching.In view of the above-mentioned related problems,five solutions are put forward: first,to intensify the publicity of curriculum reform and encourage the full implementation of the new version of the Curriculum Standards;second,to optimize the structure of teachers and accelerate the introduction and in-service training of sports teachers;third,to standardize teachers' professional ethics and improve teachers' knowledge literacy;fourth,to increase investment in funds and energy,and comprehensively improve material conditions;fifth,to guide students to choose the right options and divert the number of popular projects.
