Colleges and Universities are not only a basement of training and providing qualified personnel, but also a place where people gather and use. The number, quality and structure of teachers in colleges and universities are not only a direct bearing on the development situation and prospects, but also affect the country's comprehensive national competitiveness and overall quality. But the status of our current teachers in colleges and universities, both teachers' quantity, quality, structure and management efficiency can not compared with developed countries, but also are far from being able to meet the needs of the country and the development of the times. The reason lies in lacking of in-depth study in human resource management system of teachers in colleges and universities, failing to properly use human resource management theory to instruct the practice of human resource management for teachers in colleges and universities. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the theory and practice research of human resource management in college teachers, to enrich and improve the theory of human resource management. And it laid the foundation of national sustainable development for guiding college and university teaching team construction and promoting the healthy development of colleges and universities. The thesis follows the ideas of theoretical study, empirical analysis and countermeasure discussion, from the features of teachers' human resources management in colleges and universities, on the basis of clarifying human resource management of college and university teachers. Further studying the number insufficient, low quality, bad structure and so on in human resource management practice of current teachers in colleges and universities, and analyzing the causes of the problem from mechanism elements. Through analyzing the foreign mode of human resource management towards teachers in universities, we can get a further understanding on the present problems. Finally puts forward the system solution ideas and measures of strengthening the management of human resources in colleges and universities teachers. This paper offers some practical advices on human resource management towards teachers in Chinese universities. The main contents in this paper are:Chapter 1: States the importance of human resource management towards teachers in universities.Chapter 2: Make a systematic study on the contents of human resource management towards teachers in universities form five aspects.Chapter 3: Analyzes comprehensively present situations, problems and reasons on human resource management towards teachers in Chinese universities.Chapter 4: Introduces foreign mode of human resource management towards teachers in universities and concludes some experiences.Chapter 5: States the counter measures of human resource management towards teachers in Chinese universities.
