The problem of the role positioning of university counselors has been a common concern in academia and universities,especially the promulgation of the "Vocational College Counselor Professional Competence Standard(Tentative)" by the Ministry of Education in 2014.In 2015,the Ministry of Education promulgated the "University Counselor Team Construction Regulations",the amendment,once again positioned the role of counselor to a new height.There are various studies on role positioning of counselors from eclectic research perspectives.Researchers have made a series of research findings in the construction of counselors' team and the improvement of counselors' quality,which has a significant practical value.As a postgraduate majoring in ideological and political education,I think deeply about some problems when I study the research findings.Whether we consider from the perspective of university students when we programming the construction of counselors' team and discuss the quality of counselors from a commanding angle of view?Whether there is otherness in the expectation for counselors from university students in different levels or majors?What is the scientific basis of counselors' exact positioning?Therefore,I have consulted lots of data and find that in the process of finding out problems really from the perspective of university students'expectation in the study,university students' needs are considered but the development of counselors is ignored or the development of counselors is considered but university students' needs are ignored.Obviously,there is a fault zone in the process and it is the bridge of "people-oriented management idea" that closely combines counselors with university students.So in this paper,starting from the concept of human-based management,taking into account the needs of university students also concerned about the development of counselors to further discuss the countermeasure of accurate positioning the role of counselors.In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 500 university students in six universities in Dalian,combined the interviews with individual students and counselors,revealed that there was a gap between the present situation of the counselors and the expectation of the party and the state,it seriously effects the ideological and political education of university students,also for the development of counselors is a kind of shackles.Based on the analysis of the questionnaires,this paper discusses the composition of the counselor groups and the status of the work,especially compares the gap between the counselor status and the university students' expectation.It is found the non-human tendency of non-specialization of daily management and over-emphasis on performance.In the end,it analyzes the causes of these problems and puts forward the countermeasures to accurately locate the role of counselors,and elaborated separately from the counselor subjective and counselor team building mechanism objectively.However,based on the author's ability,for some of the ideas failed to put forward detailed plan,so finally put forward the future of our university students management and other issues discussed and outlook,with a view to future research can be further improved.
