Student management is not only an important part of junior high school education,but also provides support and protection functions for students' orderly school life.Further more,it's an vital way that to promote students' comprehensive development is scientific student management.Currently,there are many new problems in the management of junior high school students in our country,for instance,serious the conflict between teachers and students,lack of students' self management ability and so on.But these problems are mainly related to the shortcomings of the traditional student management model itself,which seriously hinders the healthy development of students.It is imperative to construct a democratic student management model whether from the perspective of cultivating qualified citizens,or in terms of effectively solving the current problems faced by junior high school students in China.Based on the investigation of the present situation of junior middle school students' management,this study analyzes the problems existing in the management of students,so as to put forward the strategy of constructing the management model of democratic students.There are four parts.The first part mainly introduces the reason of the topic and the significance of the study.On the basis of collecting relevant information,this paper explains the concept of the model of democratic student management,summarizes the research results of student management,and points out the research method.The second part--democratic education thought and democratic student management model,expounds the theoretical foundation of this article and discusses the development history of the management of democratic students,and points out the four basic characteristics of the management of democratic students: respect for students,equality between teachers and students,consensus participation,student self-management.The third part is pointed out that the current management of students is facing new challenges.On the basis of the investigation and analysis,it is concluded that weakening of the democratic consciousness and the idea,autocratic management style,the inharmonious relationship between teachers and students,the lack of self-management are disadvantages of the traditional students' management.This chapter is based on the summary analysis of thecurrent problems,such as the lack of democratic education,over-administrative and control characteristics of the management model,the impact of traditional education.The last part is discussed about the implementing the strategy of idea and practice,mainly to improve the democratic quality of teachers,to cultivate students' democratic consciousness,to establish democratic and equal teacher-student relationship,a smooth communication mechanism and student self-management system.
