This paper studies the situation of the teaching environment of physical education teachers and their occupational quality of life as well as the relationship between them by selecting 184 junior high school physical education teachers in Shen Yang as the research objects,adopting the document-data method,the questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method to investigate with the help of the related field and the interdisciplinary knowledge.Through deep analysis,the author summarizes the basic characteristics of the external teaching environment of physical education teachers in Shen Yang and the their internal occupational quality of life,which is quantified in the form of three-line table to expound the correlation between them.The results are as follows:Firstly,the physical education teachers in Shen Yang tend to be younger in age.The teaching environment of the teachers who obtain the bachelor degree is better.As for the title,the number of the male or female teachers has a downward trend with the title for the unique teaching form of physical education.What's more,the teaching environments of physical education teachers in different school levels are different between urban and rural areas.The infrastructure and interpersonal environment of the urban teachers are better than that of township and village teachers but the organizational culture environment is on the contrary.Secondly,the occupational quality of life among the teachers who are less than 30 years is the better.As for male,that is reflected by the physical health,career satisfaction and the sense of balance between career and life.For female,the score of every dimension is higher than any other age groups.And with the increasing of degree,the score gradually decreases for male in the following four dimensions: mental health,career satisfaction,working initiative and the sense of career competence,and for female,the score also gradually decreases in terms of mental health and career satisfaction.The scores of the male teachers who have the junior professional titles and the female teachers who have no professional tittles are generally the highest.And there appears a tendency that the occupational quality decreases with the increasing of the tittle.On different school levels,the occupational quality of life of the provincial school teachers is the best,and the scores of the township and village teachers are lower in every dimension.Thirdly,it is obvious that the teaching environment of physical education teachers and their occupational quality of life have a close relationship with full consideration.Among the four dimensions of teaching environment,infrastructure environment has the most influence on the occupational quality of life followed by the environment of organization,emotion and communication.The interpersonal environment doesn't appear the significant tendency because it emphasizes the psychological needs of individual.Obviously,the external teaching environment and the internal occupational quality of life have a great influence on the physical education teachers and they also have significant correlation.And the high unification of the two can not only improve the quality of teachers but also deepen the curriculum reform.In addition,infrastructure environment plays an quite important role in improving the occupational quality of life.
