Human being always wants to be the master of everything in the universe,and to be the master of time naturally becomes a dream,that people have been pursuing all the time.Meanwhile,with the accelerating pace of modern life,nowadays “Slow pace of life” is becoming more and more popular.In fact,to slow down the life pace,we should value our time highly and pay more attention to time management.College students are the hope and future of the nation,and they will shoulder more responsibility from personal growth,family and society.Therefore,the significance of time management is particularly important for them.However,some of college students spent lots of time on virtual network,addicted in the online game,novels,shopping and others,and don't concentrate on major courses of study any more.Such phenomenon of wasting time exists in many of campus,which is waiting to be solved urgently.This problem has aroused wide concern in the society,and also become the hot issue in studies of management,psychology,education and other fields.This paper is based on the theory of fifth generation of time management,proposed by German Jorg W.Knoblauch,Johannes Huger,Marcus Mockler et al.,and applies the time management methodology from David Allen,an expert of efficiency management and the author of the book Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity,which initiates the self-management of time.Additionally on the basis of statistical work and data analysis from the questionnaire on college students' school life and their time management tendency,this paper proposes to build time management action model,and help students to solve their subjectively behavioral problems.The model of time management focus on the quadrant 2 task of the framework for priority deciding,namely "Important But Not Urgent".Especially it is featured the use of the Equivalent Time Method,and strives to help students change their attitude to time management quickly,realize their own roles and responsibilities,set up specific goal and plan,implement the task and complete progress assessment,and additionally,help them to record the cultivation process.This model encourages students to seek for a new model of time management,namely: “share-life-balance”.It can not only achieve the balance of life and work,but also unify the individual and society.To improve the college students' subjective behaviors needs the positive efforts and teamwork from all over the society,to create a favorable environment,in there students can develop a sense of time-saving and good habits to efficiently improve their comprehensive abilities and qualities efficiently.Especially,universities,as the main place for students' school life,play an important role in the process of students' training.This paper proposes that schools should combine the experience of time management disposition training courses from Zimmer and Weinstein and the reality of domestic education system,to design and execute a series of local operable training courses,to fill the blank area of college students' time management training.
