Research On The University Students' Study Time Management Behavior And Outcomes

Time management belongs to the field of management. It's a managing process that we can plan, master and arrange time effectively, so as to make best use of time. The study chooses university students'study time management behaviors'result as a problem, which refers to the fields of education, psychology, etc. Recently, many psychologists have achieved demonstrate researches on university students'time management from aspects of disposition, capability, strategy, etc. However, it is lack of the grounded study in qualitative research which is based on psychology and from the perspective of management and education.The study aims to probe into the causes and influencing facts of undergraduates'study time management behaviors'results. And then discuss and give suggestions. The study chooses six representative university students as a research objects. With depth interview and investigation to collect information,and then analyses, induces, integrates the information by the way of axial coding of the grounded theory. The study's main discovery is the model named"undergraduates'study time management behaviors'results", and the discussion as follows:1,The model named undergraduates'study time management behaviors'results,which based on the information's analysis, induction and integration. The model includes five parts:causal conditions,center phenomenon, strategies, intervening conditions & context,and results.2,The study analyses and discusses university undergraduates'study time management behaviors in order to probe into the correlated factors, which includes two values, Self-regulated learning habit cultivation, Introspection by stages and transition, objective exploring and professional career planning.3,Put forward some suggestions for university students and universities. To the university students, the suggestions includes these: rectifying the two values, exploring learning objective, planning professional career, mastering and planning study time management effectively, etc. To the universities, the suggestions includes these: do every work for the link of education between university and high school, strengthen university's spirit construction, put professional career planning curriculum into the university curriculum system's construction.The last, illuminate the author's study perception and experience, the innovation,as well as the paper's short-coming.
