For a long time,many education researchers in the mainland and Taiwan are committed to explore how to teach classical Chinese.Taiwan and the mainland have the same ancestry,cultural background,thus there are lots of the same in the classical Chinese teaching.However,because of the political system,economic system,tcultural ideology and value orientation is different,lead to many differences of the two also.This study tries to seek the similarities and differences between the junior middle school classical Chinese teaching,and provide reference for the future.This study adopts literature method,comparison method,case method and other research methods,combined with curriculum theory,teaching theory,psychology and other related theory,uses teaching organization as the starting point,selects several junior middle schools,teachers on both sides of the mainland and Taiwan as the research object,and then makes a comparative study from the perspective of teaching objectives,teaching contents,teaching methods etc.This thesis is made up of four parts:The first part is the comparison of the teaching goal.After comparing the teaching objectives of the mainland "compulsory education language curriculum standard(2011 Edition)" and "Taiwan junior high school nine-year course outline in the field of language learning(in Chinese)",we have analyzed the similarities and differences in the classical Chinese teaching objectives.The second part is the comparison of mainland and Taiwan in the aspect of selecting teaching content standard and teaching key point.With a classical Chinese prose Ode to the Lotus Flower as an example,this part analyzes both the similarities and differences of two sides in 7th-9th grade' teaching contents.The third part is the comparison of teaching methods.It has analyzed basic teaching methods,the continuous innovated teaching practice,and also the both sides' teaching examples under the guidance of these methods in order to see whether the diversification of teaching methods on students' learning of classical Chinese is effective or not.The fourth part is the suggestion part of the research.By comparing the teaching goals,teaching contents and teaching methods of the three sides of the Taiwan,the similarities and differences between the two are evaluated and analyzed based on thedifferent characteristics presented by the Taiwan and the mainland.And on this basis,this paper puts forward some suggestions on the three aspects of classical Chinese teaching in junior high school in mainland.Based on the above study,the following conclusions are drawn: Firstly,the expression of the teaching goal of classical Chinese in junior high school should be clearer and more specific.It should not only have qualitative requirements,but also have quantitative requirements.Secondly,in choosing the teaching content,we should pursue the unity of "word" and "text",and appropriately introduce other subject knowledge.Thirdly,the teaching methods are diversified and innovative.
