Research On The Development Of Junior High School Biology Curriculum Resources Based On Rural Life

Biology is an experimental science.It is the basic guarantee for the middle school students to learn biology that according to the curriculum standard to arrange appropriate biology experiments.However,due to the constraints of traditional teaching idea and economic development in China,especially in the northwest of China,it is rare biology experiment opened for students in the rural junior middle schools.They have few chances to do the experiments by themselves.In order to meet the requirements and suggestions in junior middle school biology curriculum standard,the rural junior high schools should accord to the reality to develop experimental curriculum resources and open more experiments.In this way,they can help students to improve their practical ability and improve the a reform of the rural junior high school biology experiments.In this paper,we take the rural junior middle schools in the Tuoketuo County of Inner Mongolia as a sample.This paper carries out the resources development by course grouping experiments,extracurricular surveys,agricultural activities and visiting.Besides,this paper finished the teaching contents which should be finished before by replacing the experimental materials and adjusting the curriculum forms.The development strategies of rural junior high school biology experiment curriculum resources are put forward in this paper,which are: paying more attention to teachers,students and the parents,developing human resource,strengthening schools cooperation and developing social resources,participating in agricultural practice,and developing natural resources.Through the development of curriculum resources,the rate of the experimental class has been greatly improved.Students have more interests in the experiments and their academic performances have been significantly improved.These all show that the development of the junior high school biology experiment curriculum resources promotes the implementation of biology curriculum reform.
