| Since the reform and opening up in1978, China society has always been placed in the deep transformation process. With the social transformation, the reform of the economic structure and the deepening of the reform of management system of elite sports, the elite sports is in a situation that "the Whole-Nation System" coexists with the market economic system, and professionalization and marketing coexists with "the Whole-Nation System" in the structure. At the same time, corruption has attracted intensive public in competitive sports. Especially in2009, Chinese football gambling crackdown and the serious corruption problems exposed have caused a huge complains from the masses. Corruption of the elite sports violates the principle of fair competitive and hinders the healthy development of competitive sports. The corruption existing in competitive sports does tremendous damages to the image of our country that has become a realistic unavoidable problem badly in need of governance. Researches on the corruption in competitive sports now are in its infancy stage and the researches on those problems are inadequate. So the researches on the corruption in competitive sports are especially important and urgent now.Based on the reality of our country, in this doctoral dissertation those research methods such as literature review, questionnaire survey, interview, mathematical statistics and case analysis are used to have a deep and systemic research on the theories and practices of the corruption existing in competitive sports and the following points are obtained.First, in the perspective of public power, based on the scientific definition of corruption of elite sports, it preliminary builds the theoretical framework of corruption study in competitive sports and determines the scope of the study. Corruption in competitive sports that the power holders abuse of the public power for private gain and those behaviors cause serious damage to the public interest. The essence of corruption problems is that using public power to gain private gain and the nature of the corruption problems is the serious alienation of public power. Secondly, this dissertation has an empirical research on the present situation of the corruption problems existing in competitive sports in the transitional process. This dissertation has an analysis of the reasons of the corruption problems in competitive sports from the subjective and objective aspects. The value of sports is changed and distorted by profit of market economy. The subjective reason of the production of corruption is the lack of humanism and professional ethics of the personnel in competitive sports. The objective reason of the production of corruption is the existing flaws of the administration system in competitive sports, a lag in the construction of legal system of sports, imperfection of the power supervision and restriction mechanism and the negative impact of culture. Finally, based on the analysis of the current situation and existing problems in the corruption governance of competitive sports in China, this dissertation put forward the strategic objectives and concrete measures during the transitional period that are perfecting the administration system of competitive sports, strengthening the construction of sports legal system, perfecting the power supervision and restriction mechanism and initializing the sports ethics construction project. |
