The Research On Education Satisfaction Of Academic Postgraduates

High quality of postgraduate education is crucial for a nation to enhance comprehensive strength and the development of science and technology.With the globalization of economy and science,many countries have paid more and more attention to the training quality of high-level scientific research talents.Therefore,improving the quality of postgraduate education has become the concern of all aspects.Besides,as the implementation of the postgraduates' tuition system and the customer satisfaction theory is widely used in the field of higher education,improving the education satisfaction of postgraduates becomes the hot issue in the universities.With the theme of education satisfaction of postgraduates,this paper studied five universities in Shanxi province as cases by using the method of literature review,questionnaire and interview.This paper mainly divided into the following parts:First,on the basis of defining the related concepts of the students'education and education satisfaction,the author explained the theory of Hierarchy of Needs,Customer Satisfaction,Expectancy and Cognitive Dissonance,and introduced the design of research.Second,the author investigated education satisfaction of academic postgraduates in five universities in Shanxi.By sorting and analyzing the survey data,the author concluded the condition of academic postgraduates'overall education satisfaction,academic Postgraduates' education Satisfaction from different dimensions and the influence of academic postgraduates' individual characteristics on their education satisfaction.Third,in view of the condition of academic postgraduates' education satisfaction,the author interviewed some academic postgraduates.By sorting and analyzing the interview materials,this paper analyzed the reasons----the external and the internal aspects.External causes included social aspect and university aspect.Internal cause was the academic postgraduates themselves.Fourth,the author aimed at the conclusion of research,putting forward the measures of improving education satisfaction of academic postgraduates from macroscopic level,middle level and microcosmic level.Firstly,university should follow the principle of democracy,creating equal and free campus environment to the academic postgraduates' study and research.Secondly,university should take quality as the core,putting target formulation,education services and quality assessment into practice.Last,postgraduates should strengthen their individual consciousness and realize their own advantages and disadvantages and improve their learning motivation.
