The ideological and political education among college students is the central part of education in schools all the time,so the cultivation of ideological and political quality should be the priority in developing college culture.Advice on further strengthening and improving propaganda and ideological work in colleges and universities under the new situation issued by General Office of the CPC Central Committee and Central Office of the State Council in 2015,which emphasized the enhancement of pertinence and effectiveness in ideological and political education of the college students,the integration of core socialist values and whole process of the higher education,and the cultivation of socialist builders and successors featuring an all-round development in morality,intelligence,physique and art.In recent years,the revolution in higher education in China sees some achievements,and the great colleges and universities are faced with new development opportunities and challenges.A higher vocational college is an important part of vocational education in China,which takes the responsibility of cultivating applied talents owning high technology.With the enrollment expansion of in great colleges and universities,the majors in higher vocational colleges become more and more specific,and the single source of students turns more various and complex.The above phenomena can be seen in art higher vocational colleges,while they also have their own features that their ideas are very different from other major college students,which brings greater challenge for the ideological and political education.Therefore,it is a current crucial mission for the art higher vocational colleges in ideological and political education that we should better master the ideological trends of students in order to improve effectively the ideological and political quality of students.On the basis of the basic conditions and behavior features of art higher vocational college students,this thesis explores the problems and causes in thoughts and behaviors,and aims to provide some effective approaches for the ideological and political education of art higher vocational college students according to the current situations of ideological and political education in art higher vocational colleges.This thesis can be divided into four parts besides introduction and conclusion.The first part analyzes the features of basic conditions and behavior features of art higher vocational college students.Now the sources of higher vocational college students become more complex,and the majors become more specific and there is also a big age gap between them.They own strong patriotic feelings and basic correct political cognition,believe in the fairness and justice,pay attention to the realization of the self-value,so their ideological and political status stays a good situation in general.However,the problems in thoughts and behaviors for art higher vocational college students cannot be ignored.They pay more attention to specialized courses rather than fundamental courses,so they are poor at fundamental knowledge;they have less consciousness in ideals and excessively pursuit of reality;they cannot control themselves with less consciousness in self-discipline;they have strong consciousness in independence and less in cooperation;they pay more attention to pursuing personal benefits and less to collective interests.The influences from society,school,family and students all cause the above phenomena.Therefore,the research on art higher vocational colleges should begin with the features of students and causes of problems in order to explore some effective approaches on the ideological and political education of them.The second part analyses the current situations of art higher vocational college students,and it can be divided into following three aspects.The first aspect discusses the significance of art higher vocational college students.As we all know,the ideological and political education is an essential component in college education,so the reinforcement of art higher vocational college students is not only the demand of development at home and abroad,but also the need of developing all-round students.The second aspect concludes some experience of former ideological and political education of art higher vocational college students,and there are also some current achievements in ideological and political education in art higher vocational colleges,and we are still explore some novel patterns and methods in ideological and political education.The third aspect analyzes some problems and shortages in ideological and political education in art higher vocational colleges.Although the researches on ideological and political education in art higher vocational colleges have already acquired some achievements,the researches paid more attention to common features rather than individual characteristics,laid emphasis on form instead of contents,emphasized theory but neglected practice,and the professional quality of staff in the ideological and political education are imbalanced,so we should solve the above problems rapidly.The third part mainly elaborates the causes of some problems in art higher vocational college students in ideological and political education.From a social perspective,with the high development of economy and technology and furious interaction among many various thoughts,students are easily influenced by some bad ideas.From a school perspective,the ideological and political education easily neglects the individual education,and some poor management patterns and teaching methods and unstable teacher troop also bring some bad influences for students.From a family perspective,various family backgrounds for art higher vocational college students contribute to strong consciousness in self-value,and students seem more likely to make them self centered.From their own perspective,they own less learning initiative from childhood,and they pay more attention to learning specialized knowledge but neglect acquiring fundamental knowledge and improving ideological and political quality,and they cannot control themselves well,which own low self-request and lacks of gumption.The fourth part provides some approaches and suggestions for improving art higher vocational college students in ideological and political education.The part discusses from five aspects.Firstly,we should take advantage of the guidance of ‘two courses',fortify students' ideal and believes,pay more attention to the teaching of Marxist theory and ideological and political education in order to guide students to establish a correct political view and fortify their ideal and believes.Secondly,we should build a high quality teacher troop and improve the management capability.On the basis of imperfect teacher troop and imbalanced professional quality,we should select much higher political conscience to fill the ideological and political teacher troop in order to strengthen the effective management for students.Thirdly,some various practical activities are indispensable,which enhance their collective conscience.The on campus and off campus activities carried out by the school should be based on students' specific majors and current ideological situations,and agree with the development of students in order to enhance the cooperative conscience and collective consciousness.Fourthly,we should promote the combination of ideological and political education and learning of specialized knowledge in order to improve the ideological and political quality of students.The integration of ideological and political education and specialized knowledge learning would influence subconsciously students with correct ideological thoughts.Fifthly,we could enrich teaching methods with the help of Internet.As we all know,ideological and political education via Internet is a novel teaching method which owns the advantages of timeliness and pertinence.With the high utilization ratio and rapid information delivery,the ideological and political educator should adequately use the Internet to realize greater ideological and political education.
