A Research On The Psychological Health Problems And Countermeasure Of College Counselors

The eighteenth session of the National People's Congress pointed that strengthening and improving ideological and political work, paying attention to humanistic care and psychological counseling, fostering self-esteem, self-confidence, rational, calm and positive social mentality is more and more important in modern society. College counselor is an important part of college teachers which have the special socialism of China. College counselor is the backbone who is engaged in the moral education work, education and management work of college. And they also are the instructors and leaders of contemporary college's healthy growth and success. In the relationship between college teachers and colleges, counselor is the most closely contact with colleges. They also have the most direct impact on colleges. Their psychological health not only directly affect the formation and development of the psychological quality of colleges, but also have related to the actual effect of ideological and political education and management work and the construction of harmonious campus. Therefore, it is the significant meaning of the topic selection and the inevitable requirement of the higher education of Chinese special socialism that conduct the research on the psychological health problems of college counselor deeply and improve the psychological health level and psychological quality industriously. So that we can creat a new situation of the ideological and political education work.The research based on the theories of human's all-around development and subjectivity by Marxism, psychological health and communication and interaction. Synthetically use the methods of social investigation, literature research, theory and practice combination, which has carried on the systematic research and discussion from the significant meaning, bacic requirements, present situation, main problems and reasons, maintenance countermeasures of the psychological health of college counselor. In the level of the present situation of psychological health, the research mainly work for the psychological pressure, work environment satisfaction and social support of college counselors.Ini the level of the analysis of psychological health, there are three conflict-between counselor's occupational role and social reality, between counselor's occupational role and psychological resistance of educate, and the limitation caused by counselor's occupational role. In the level of the maintenance countermeasures of psychological health, the study mainly work for strengthening counselor's subject consciousness, creating good working environment, building effective incentive mechanism and carrying out mental health education and training. The study of theory and practice show that pay fully attention to the level of the psychological health and quality of college counselor is not only beneficial to establish self-esteem, self-confidence, rational, calm, positive social mentality, but also to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education and management work.
