The adolescents study weariness problem has been frequently investigated in pedagogy and psychology fields.This issue has drawn a lot of attentions from parents,teachers,and other educational-related researches.Among those two study fields,the study weariness was less concerned in the mediation field.The deleterious internet information was usually considered as one of the disadvantages regarding adolescents,but without reinforcement.However,as the dramatically development of internet,the impacts to adolescents is getting more and more severe;the internet dependence in adolescents is also getting higher.There is a clear trend that adolescents are likely to use internet entertainment applications because of the enjoyment of those applications.However,the harmful effects would happen if they are addicting to the internet-based applications,such as daily life,study,and both physical and mental health.The interview with junior high school students and teachers,field survey and questionnaires were used to explore the internet media usage and study condition among middle school students in G city.The quantitative analysis was used to test the associations between internet media usage and study condition.The internet media usage was considered in terms of online videos,online social,and online gaming behaviors.The study condition was considered based on self-accomplishment,study interests,and study initiatives.The study outcome showed below:(1)Most of students have experienced online music,videos,online chatting,and online games,meanwhile,these behaviors were the most frequent choices for them.(2)There was no clear difference on internet surfing habits between the time prior to entering middle school and post-entering middle school.For instance: There were no differences on habits among We Chat(friends circle),Weibo,QQ(QQ zone),study searching,music,videos.There were no differences among internet surfing tool selections,online social content,and chatting individuals.There were significant differences on weekly internet surfing durations,locations,and viewing online news habits.(3)There were significant differences on study conditions among internet surfing time intervals,durations,QQ,videos,online study or searching,viewing QQ zone,and using abuse language in the online games.
