The Historical Study On Standards For Teacher Educators In The United States

In the background of American education reform, standards for teacher educators born. It's a breakthrough in the process of teachers'professionalization. Secondly, paper analyses the formulation and revision process of the 1996 edition and 2008 edition standards for teacher educators. Thirdly, presenting the main content of two versions of standards for teacher educators and analyzing from the perspective of role.Then, on the implementation and development, expatiates the way and the case of the implementation. Finally, the paper combines with our country's actual situation and education reform, sharing some suggestions from standards for teacher educators.
