Children's poem has become a kind of important education resources in the language teaching material. High quality selection and layout can make students learning more knowledge through poetry, this paper based on the study of primary school Chinese children's poem teaching materials. This paper use the research methods such as literature method, comparison method, is committed to children's poetry in the textbook chosen and choreography. The author first discusses about children's poem and compilation basis. From the concept of children's poem, elaborates the characteristics, and the difference of children's songs, and the children's poem for children education value is discussed. In an overview of the current Chinese textbooks for primary school children's poem must first clear before compilation of the current textbook compilation principle and the basis, from the academic theory and relevant documents of discourse of textbook compilation of conclusions. Then the current Chinese textbooks for primary school children's poem analysis, discusses from two aspects of selection and arrangement. Selection aspects from the subject matter and theme, species distribution, model selection analysis, summarized in pedestrian version of the articles. And never students section of the arrangement of the layout, selection of present methods, associated with unit theme, discusses the related teaching requirements. Based on this, advances to the children's poem and the Suggestions of optimization. Selection:close to the actual student life, the expansion of subject matter, theme and type of diversification, the absorption and transformation of classic. Choreography respects:selected article number and proportion of distribution, close the relationship with the principal part of the text, the diversification of exercises.
