A Research On Migrant Women's Marital Stability

Since China's reform and opening up,China have undergone tremendous changes.In the 1990s,China does not limit migration,a large number of rural populations into the city and engaged in non-agricultural occupations.In recent years,the number of female migrant workers showed a rising trend,forming double mobile homes.Migrant women to achieve the transformation from the private realm to public areas,from the family role of consumer to economic contributors.In this shift,what changes of their marriage and family,how their marriage and family stability,what is impact mechanism?These questions I wanted to seek.Reviewed the relevant literature,studies have focused on the marital stability of women left behind.It lack the research of migrant women's marital stability.So the present study investigated migrant women's marital stability from the perspective of marital Quality.This study took the interview method,and taking Village H Minqing County as a survey point,selecting 15 families as a case.Through analyzing interviews and civil judgments,we found that flow have effects in rural women marital stability.The rural women have a high unstable marriage,the migrant women have a steady marriage.The study found migrant women together with their husband have a high steady,following factors led the result:First,The gender division of labor from family orientation and harmonious marital relationship make migrant women have a higher satisfaction to marital reIations,so it promotes migrant women's marital stability;second,migrant couple mutually considerate,caring and qualified family role play make migrant women have a better evaluation to their husbands,it contributes migrant women's marital stability;Third,previous generation's resources transfer and improved family economy make migrant women have a satisfaction to the current material life,it it contributes migrant women's marital stability;Fourth,the family everyday life played a marriage emotional function,to achieve a good marriage interactive,it contributes migrant women's marital stability;fifth,home-based resource management model and the couple have a certain control over the economy to enhance migrant couples cohesion,it contributes migrant women's marital stability.At the same time,damn public opinion,Social Support Network,children also contributes the migrant women' marriage.
