| The profession of teacher originates in the teaching,and the teaching work is the professional work of teachers.Since the reform of the university system in Humboldt,and under the influence of the gradually mature Wisconsin model,the influence of the market and the social demanding on the university has been exacerbated.This phenomenon causes that the university’s scientific research function gradually surmounts the teaching function,and the status of teaching is precarious.In response to this problem,in 1990,the former Minister of Education of United States,Boyer,published Scholarship Reconsidered and first pointed out the Scholarship of Teaching.Scholarship of Teaching has important significance of changing the concept of teaching and enhancing the status.The establishment of the academic status of teaching is inseparable from the scientific and effective teaching evaluation system,which plays an important role in encouraging teachers to actively participate in education.Scholarship of Teaching provides a brand-new perspective for the reform of teaching evaluation in China.The teaching evaluation system under the guidance of Scholarship of Teaching can further improve the evaluation concept,the evaluation purpose,the evaluation content,the evaluation method and the evaluation subject.At the same time,building the teaching evaluation system based on the Scholarship of Teaching can promote the importance of the teaching in universities.In addition,the phenomenon of only paying attention to scientific research and ignoring teaching will be eased.It benefits to re-understand the teaching work,to establish the status of teaching teachers,to build a scientific and effective evaluation index system,and to improve the current teacher evaluation mechanism.Therefore,this article will base on the Scholarship of Teaching,and constructs teacher teaching appraisal system.Overall,this paper is divided into the following six parts:The first part is the introduction part.It mainly discusses the background of the topic and the meaning of the topic.It includes the important concepts and theories involved in this article,the relevant research summary and the ideas and methods of this study.The second part mainly analyzes the academic characteristics of teaching from two aspects:the theoretical basis and the external manifestation.It expounds the Scholarship of Teaching of teaching and analyzes the academic characteristics of teaching from the aspects of teaching content,teaching object,teaching process and ability requirement.The third part mainly analyzes the current situation and problems of the teaching evaluation system of university teachers in China from the aspects of evaluation concept,purpose,standard,subject,content and method.The fourth part analyzes the need for teacher evaluation system from the school level,the management level,and the evaluation subject level.The fifth part is the main part of this article.It discusses the characteristics of teaching,the function of evaluation of university teachers,and the subject.On this basis,it builds evaluation system from four aspects:teaching research,teaching ability,professional ethics and teaching reflection.It also uses the AHP method to design the teaching evaluation index.At last,the paper expounds the implementation of the teaching evaluation system based on Scholarship of Teaching. |
