In the course of university governance, the lack of students' participation is even absent, which violates the educational idea of "taking students as the foundation" of higher education, hinders the development of modern higher education management, influences the transformation and development of colleges and universities, and hinders university governance The realization of the rights of middle school students as the main body of interest is not conducive to its comprehensive development. Based on this, this study explores the practical dilemma of students 'participation in the governance of universities from the perspective of exploring the effective path of students' participation in university governance. It aims to improve the effectiveness of student participation in university governance. To make up for students to participate in the problem of university governance.By defining the connotations of the keywords such as "student participation", "university governance" and "path" in this study, and analyzing the extension of university governance - here mainly through analyzing the relationship between university management and governance to analyze its extension - To determine the concept of "student participation in university governance" in this study, is the theoretical prerequisite and bedding for this study. Through the compilation and analysis of the collected literature, the author tries to find the theoretical basis and subject of students' participation in university governance. "Theory of governance","stakeholder theory", "education consumer theory", "education democratization theory" and"subject education management theory" theory, for students to participate in university governance provides a solid theoretical basis. This study analyzes the subject of students'participation in university governance from several disciplines of politics, economics, sociology,pedagogy and management. Therefore, the participation of students in the process of university governance has important theoretical basis.The participation of students in university governance is the need of contemporary higher education reform and development. It is the need to promote the internal governance of colleges and universities, and also the practical needs of students participating in the practice of university governance. In this study, we use the method of collecting and analyzing data to find out the plight of our students' participation in university governance by analyzing literature and questionnaire. In the course of university governance, students' participation is mainly manifested in the lack of cognitive participation of students, the small participation of students,the poor participation of students and the poor participation of students in several aspects. From the social level, the institutional level, the university environment and the students themselves and other aspects of in-depth analysis of the students to participate in university governance difficulties are the reasons for the traditional educational management of the constraints of the scope of student participation in governance is too small, the lack of students to improve system security and students For their own understanding of the subjectivity is not enough. In the above analysis, in the university governance, we should adhere to the concept of multiple governance,that is, so that each stakeholder can participate in the process of university governance in order to achieve maximum benefits.
