Research On The Evaluation For The Quality Of Population Urbanization In Zhejiang Province

As the core of urbanization,population urbanization development needs to speed up the transition from quantity growth to quality improvement.Quality of population urbanization is not only related to the population's own development,more related to the quality of the whole development of urbanization.In this paper,we take 11 cities of Zhejiang as the the research object,meanwhile,determine the connotation of population urbanization and establish relevant evaluation index system based on features of population urbanization development in Zhejiang in the present stage.Through surveys and data analysis,we make the population urbanization quality evaluation of Zhejiang province.In addition,we make a comprehensive analysis and put forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The connotation of population urbanization quality is identified.High quality of the population urbanization should first show the synchronous coordination of level of population urbanization development and industrialization process,industrial structure and employment structure transformation and economic development;Secondly,the quality of population urbanization is also embodied in the improvement of viability of the urban population,the developing ability and the quality of life.(2)Multiple factors comprehensive evaluation model is used to evaluate the the population urbanization quality of Zhejiang Province.The specific evaluation process is divided into four steps,including the construction of evaluation index system,the present value calculation,the determination of index weight value and composite index calculation,etc.(3)The population urbanization quality of Zhejiang Province has some spatial differentiation.The population urbanization quality of eastern and southern cities is higher than the central regions.But,overall,the population urbanization quality gap among the cities in Zhejiang Province is not big.The population urbanization quality of Hangzhou is judged as great;Which of Zhoushan,Ningbo,Wenzhou,Quzhou,Lishui,Jiaxing and Taizhou is judged as good;and which of Huzhou,Shaoxing and Jinhua is judged as qualified.In addition,there is obvious difference in basic public service level and residents' living quality of each city.(4)According to the the problem we found from the study,we put forward some suggestions to improve the quality of population urbanization.Such as promoting the coordinated development of population urbanization and non-agricultural industries,using different transfer guidence for the transferring agricultural people,improving the level of basic public service coverage and standards and improving the urban living environment,etc.
