| Since the reform and opening up,China’s manufacturing industry has developed rapidly with the east wind of population dividend,and with this advantage,China has become the "world factory" and locked a place in the global value chain.The advantages of China’s population base,total human resources and talent structure provide inexhaustible power for the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.At present,the importance of population factor to the high quality development of manufacturing industry has become a consensus.The high quality development of manufacturing industry in the new period also has a higher demand for the population factor.All the realities show that the coordination and adaptation of the two can help the strategic goal of high-quality development of manufacturing industry to be better promoted.Based on this,the interaction between population quality and high quality development of manufacturing industry,and the coordination and adaptation between population quality and high quality development of manufacturing industry are worth further study.This thesis firstly compares the theories of population quality and manufacturing quality development,and defines the connotation of population quality and manufacturing quality development in the context of new research.On this basis,we select representative indicators and conduct a descriptive statistical analysis of the current situation of population quality and manufacturing quality development in each province and city,and derive the time-series change characteristics of both.Then,using the input-output method,we analyze the interaction between population quality and manufacturing quality development from the perspective of industrial sectors,and then establish an evaluation index system to analyze the level of coordinated and appropriate development of population quality and manufacturing quality in each region,and try to identify the weak points in the process of coordinated and appropriate development of population quality and manufacturing quality.Finally,combining the quantitative measurement and analysis results,we propose countermeasures to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry from the perspective of population quality factors.The research results show that:(1)Firstly,the regional differences between the quality of China’s population and the level of high-quality development of the manufacturing industry are large and uneven,and the high-quality characteristics of the manufacturing industry are gradually emerging.The manufacturing base as well as manufacturing output has been significantly improved in general,the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry has been effective,and the central and western regions have invested more in the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,but the development pattern of uneven distribution and large differences between regions is still relatively obvious.(2)The ability of population quality to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry has decreased,while the pull effect of high-quality development of manufacturing industry on the improvement of population quality has increased.The pushing effect is mainly reflected in providing power for the manufacturing industry by means of science and technology innovation,and the "counter-effect" of manufacturing industry on the quality of population is mainly reflected in directly promoting the development of the science and technology innovation industrial sector.(3)The degree of coordination between population quality and manufacturing quality development in China is generally not high,and there is obvious regional heterogeneity,with the degree of coordination between population quality and manufacturing quality development in the eastern region of China being significantly higher than that in the central and western regions.From the analysis of different dimensions,the main factor that restricts the coordinated and appropriate development of population quality and manufacturing quality in each region of China is the basis of adaptation,and through further two-dimensional analysis,it can be seen that there is a certain "Matthew effect" in the adaptation process of population quality and quality development in each region of China,with cities in the first and fourth echelon of development The number of cities in the first and fourth echelons of development is on the rise,and the regional distribution pattern is gradually remarkable.In order to realize the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,firstly,it is necessary to give full play to the regional driving ability and promote the balanced development of population base and manufacturing industry base;secondly,it is necessary to improve the innovation ability and highlight the important position of scientific and technological innovation in the high-quality development of manufacturing industry;thirdly,it is necessary to strengthen the policy intervention measures and promote the coordinated and appropriate development of population quality and manufacturing industry. |
