Life education has been gradually developed since the end of 20 century after spreading to China.But all kinds of social phenomena which are harmful to life and health can still be seen everywhere,from kindergarten to university.Therefore life education should be carried out in an early age.It is important for the healthy growth of a person to establish the right concept of life education from the stage of childhood.Early childhood education is the basis stage of children education during their lives.During this stage,the children has great plasticity,and the life education during this stage can help children love life,cherish life,care life,respect life and possess the consciousness of protecting their and others life.Life and cognitive education during early childhood is an important part of children' life education,which means the children knows and understands the four dimensions---growth,reproduction,aging and death of life.This research uses the above concept as a breakthrough point to life cognitive course content to integrate and provides a feasible education suggestion.The objects of this research are the children of a five-star kindergarten in Shenyang.We randomly selected the children of two top classes in the kindergarten as the research sample,and we randomly divide them into two classes---experimental class and comparative class.This study concludes three parts---before measure,after measure and intervention activities.The materials of before measure and after measure include(growth,reproduction,aging,death)four dimensions and there are three major task---classify,causal explanation and judgment,which is the basis of children life cognition.Intervention activity is the theme activity---"the life of a silkworm" for six times(including develop,silkworm,silkworm cocoon,silk moth,spawning,aging anddeath).Based on the analysis data of 5-6's children's life education can conclusion that:The life cognition of children of the top class in kindergarten are at a primary development level;The theme activity of "the life of a silkworm" can promote the understanding of life cognition of children of the top class in kindergarten;The importance of life education to the young children.
