A Study On The Problem Of Africans' Habitation In The Perspective Of Social Capital And Research On Social Work Intervention

Economic globalization has promoted the transnational migration and movement of foreign populations.And make China's Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou and other metropolitan areas become an international city,Guangzhou's foreign cross-border population,especially Africans,more gathered,where in Xiaobei attracted a lot of foreigners to do business,study and work,especially the Africans,so that Xiaobei become the racial characteristics of the African' habitation.Africans in the promotion of local economic development,but also faced with a variety of social relations and social support reconstruction and other issues,and cause the ethnic groups in the community has become increasingly prominent.Based on Putnam 's bonding social capital and bridging social capital,this paper explores the problem of African people' s habitation and finds that they use the bonding social capital,showing a high polymerization from migration,foothold,development to adaptation and forming a cohesive community in the local.Because it is external and heterogeneous,Putnam thought better bridged social capital has been lost,leading to the alienation of Africans and neighborhoods,difficulty to assimilate into the local community,shaped a community is binary and paralleled with the local community.With the continuous development of the community,Africans' bridging social capital has not been weakened in time and bonding social capital has not been expanded,which has aggravated the curing and confinement of the African community,which is easy to lead to neighborhood conflicts and social security worries.This paper attempts to solve the problem of African people from social work.In the direct service level,the use of case,group,community work methods,from the reinforce,norms of consciousness,volunteerism,community cohesion,community trust,community interaction and other aspects to reduce the African bonding social capital and expand the bridging social capital.In the indirect service level,through the social policy,social work administration,social work research to weaken the Africans' bridging social capital and build bonding social capital.Thus fragmentating the high polymeric and distinct community to promote the opening up and development of neighborhoods in the agglomeration and to drive the establishment of friendly relations in neighborhoods as well as the social stability.
