With the constant development of technology and wide application of the Internet,animation has come into our sights and greatly affected our life by computer.Faced with this trend,many schools have launched a course about Flash animation production.However,after learning this course,a great number of students realize that they still can't use knowledge learned in class flexibly.Because many teachers invariably use traditional teaching methods in class and students don't know what to do or where to start,which is difficult to achieve the desired improvements.Faced with this phenomenon,the author tries to know the status quo of students and teachers by questionnaires and interviews,and intends to explore the reform and innovation of "Flash animation" teaching method.New curriculum encourages students to learn effectively.Students actively explore knowledge to improve the enthusiasm and initiative of learning.In this way,students' physical and mental potential can play a full role,which contributes to a positive teaching effect.Curriculum revolution is imperative under such the circumstance.Therefore,the author puts forward the study of practice Reform with the "case teaching" during the lesson of Flash animation.Case teaching requires that teachers should not only have solid teaching basic skills and professional knowledge,but also have good practical skills.Application of new teaching mode is not only conducive to improve teachers' professional development and ability of reflection,but also contributes to promoting case teaching method in "Flash animation" and changing traditional ways of teaching.Case teaching has been applied to "Flash animation" curriculum during the second term of senior one in Wuhai No.10 High School.Under the guidance ofproper cases,teachers can improve the teaching effect,improve students' interest in learning,abilities of studying independently and solving problems by analyzing cases,reproducing cases and creating works.Teachers can start from case selection,implementation and evaluation,study with two cycles of action research method.Each cycle should include plan,action,observation and reflection which interconnect and interdepend.The first round of the study is mainly that case teaching as a core drives teaching reform.Because of a preliminary attempt,unskilled teachers and students' differences,the author still adopts the way of analyzing cases by teachers and listening to by students.Even so,this new method has changed obviously compared with traditional teaching.Compared with traditional teaching mode,it can promote the second round of research under the deeply observation and analysis of students' classroom state,learning achievement and making works.Based on students' independent inquiry learning and with the assistance of classroom teaching,the second round of teaching practice greatly changed students' learning ways and teachers' teaching modes.After two semesters' practical research,students has improved the abilities of mastering knowledge,become more enthusiastic to study than ever before.At the same time,classroom atmosphere has been greatly mobilized.Students have learned from passive learning to active learning,improved their self-learning abilities and abilities of solving problems.This practice also accumulated experience of applying case teaching to "Flash animation" curriculum,which has provided valuable experience for promotion of information technology course teaching of high school.
