The purpose of the Bologna process is to create a more compatible,comparable and integrated European Higher Education Area(EHEA)throughout Europe,in order to strengthen the competitiveness and attractiveness of European Higher Education.From the signature of Bologna Process Declaration by 29 European countries in 1999,to the convening of the Leuven Conference in 2009,through the every two years of ministerial meeting and the issuement of a series of declarations and communiques.It can be seen that the policies and concepts of Bologna process was being deepened,the goals it setted was being advanced,every signatory country responded positively and relevant measures were taken to reform their higher education system through the last decade.In 2010,a mutual trust,cooperative and respect the diversity of language and cultural EHEA was officially launched on the ministerial conference of Budapest and Vienna.It manifested the goal of the Bologna Declaration has been carried out elementarily.In 2009 and 2012,the Leuven and Bucharest conference took stock of the achievements of the Bologna Process and established the priorities for the EHEA for the next decade,aimed to making the most of our potential,consolidating the EHEA.The Yerevan meeting in 2015,which provided a renewed vision for the Bologna process and put forward to achieve an EHEA where our common goals are implemented in all member countries to ensure trust in each other's higher education systems.After decades of construction,a great number of achievements has been obtained,the aims of a unified three-tier degree system,facilitate the mobility of student and academic,European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System(ECTS)and quality assurance and lifelong learning were basically complemented.The European social dimension and the competitiveness and attractiveness of EHEA were enhanced significantly.This paper mainly discusses the new development from the Budapest and Vienna meeting to Yerevan meeting,uses the methods of literature,comparative and text analysis,tries to explains its content formthe following five parts:Part I: Introduces the reasons for choosing topics as well as the researches at home and abroad,and define the relevant concepts.combed the literature review and illustrate the ideas and methods of the study.Part II: Summarizes the background of Bologna Process as well as the measures and achievements to advance Bologna Process.Part III: Analyses the new development of Bologna process:to further promote the mutual recognition of credits and degree;to promote the social dimension of higher education;to enhance the quality of student and academic flows;to improve the effectiveness of study outcome and the employability of graduate.Part IV: Discusses the new achievements of Bologna process and new problems faced by the Bologna process.Part V: the new implications of the Bologna process for the development of higher education under the strategic framewok of ‘One Belt and One Rode' in China,thus providing a convincing reference for us to explore the modern higher education system and the possible development trend.
