The Bologna Process Under The European Higher Education Quality Assurance System Research

Accompanied by European economic and political integration, in the educationfield, the Bologna Declaration was signed in1999by ministers in charge of highereducation from29European countries. The Bologna Process was named after theBologna Declaration, its aim was to create a European Higher Education Area (EHEA)based on international cooperation and academic exchange that is attractive to studentsand staff from European and other parts of the world. From then on, participatingcountries gradually built European higher education quality assurance system. Backedby this system, EHEA launched in March,2010. European higher education qualityassurance system will be continually strengthened and improved to consolidate theEHEA.This paper separately analyzed external quality assurance system of Europeanhigher education and internal quality assurance system of European higher educationunder the Bologna Process; and then, discussed the current situation and existingproblems of higher education quality assurance system in China, and drew beneficialinspirations.
