Research On Compulsory Course Settings Of Social Sports Guidance And Management(Yoga Direction)

With the fast development of Chinese economy and the constant improvement of people’s living standards,the university health industry attracts high attention and focus from the government.In China,the team of yoga practitioners keeps expanding.In the meantime,the setting of yoga courses in universities and colleges is also rather common.Although the social demands for professional yoga talents increase,domestic universities and colleges haven’t set up relevant majors for cultivating such professional talents.In this context,the lack of yoga talents greatly restricts the popularization and development of yoga.As institutions that are in charge of cultivating talents needed by the society,universities and colleges are obliged to undertake such responsibilities.Despite the huge demands,professional yoga teaching is not included in universities’ curricular setting of cultivating PE talents.To solve this practical problem,the thesis takes the compulsory speciality courses of yoga direction in the Social PE Guidance and Management major held by Yunnan Minzu University as its research objective.Based on researching the establishment of India-China Yoga College,it tries to propose a curricular setting conception for the compulsory courses in the yoga direction from the theoretical perspective.Adopting the expert interview method,literature review method,comparative analysis method and the special topic discussion method,the thesis conducts theoretical setting of yoga courses from the cultivation objectives,curricular objective,curricular setting and evaluations of the yoga direction in the Social PE Guidance and Management Major held by Yunnan Minzu University.Besides taking reference from the professional courses of the yoga major in SVYASA and Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute,the thesis also combines the undergraduate cultivation programs of all majors in Yunnan Minzu University.Research conclusions:Research conclusions:(1)The major of Social Sports Guidance and Management(Yoga Direction)provided by Yunnan Minzu University made Yoga into a degree program for the first time except India.The specialty enjoys favorable advantages and conditions,but also faces a plight of the lack of course setting experience.By utilizing literature review method,comparative analysis method and feasibility analysis of course setting,and referring to experience of setting other major courses,the setting of major compulsory courses in Yoga direction becomes possible.(2)Major compulsory curses of Social Sports Guidance and Management(Yoga Direction)provided by Yunnan Minzu University are supported by Marx’s theory about human all-round development,Taylor’s behavioral objective mode,Bruner’s cognitive structure learning theory and course school theory as fundamental theories.Course setting principles are scientific nature,systematic nature and innovative nature.The course settings should be rational,people-oriented and student-centered.(3)Through special subject argument and questionnaire surveys,following results are concluded: Courses of the major of Social Sports Guidance and Management(Yoga Direction)provided by Yunnan Minzu University are composed of professional basic courses and professional core courses,among which,there are 6 professional basic courses,covering 360 class hours and 20 credits(every credit requires 18 class hours),and 6 professional core courses,covering 28 credits,234 theoretical class hours and 270 practical class hours.The settings of credits and class hours conform to the stipulations in talent training program of Yunnan Minzu University.
