Full-time compulsory education history course standard makes new request to curriculum resourses' development and utilization,which emphasizes that each school should develop and utilize local curriculum resources according to the actual situation and combine the statecomplied textbook and curriculum resources organically during the practical teaching,to promote the smooth running of history teaching in middle school.Whatever in types or quantity,there are abundant local resources can be applied to history teaching in Xinyang.Time-honored Peiligang,Longshan and Qujialing culture relics were all solidly established in Xinyang.Such as historical sites,memorial hall,museum,historical figures and red ruins are numberless.Especially the red culture and indigenous culture is Xinyang area can be used for secondary school history teaching important course resources.After the investigation,the history teaching of Xinyang district middle school can use local curriculum resources to assist teaching,but the degree islimited.And did not make full use of these rich local curriculum resources.That's to say,at present,the utilization of local curriculum courses is only on primary stage in Xinyang.The results of the survey show that the main problems in the application of local curriculum resources are: teachers' overall application consciousness is weak;application time,lack of funds and schools do not attach importance to the difficulties;lack of government education departments and other social forces support;Low level of application,and a single application.Therefore,below suggestions are propounded in this paper: offering specialized history local curriculum;education supervision department supervises,superintends and awards in real time;holding a competition about local knowledge periodically;enriching and improving the method of teaching appraisal.Hoping the suggestions mentioned above could help to promote the loca curriculum resources a better utilization to history teaching in middle schools.
