The 2011 edition of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education promulgated by the Ministry of Education and the 2017 edition of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools all put forward new requirements for the development and utilization of curriculum resources.It is hoped that teachers should attach great importance to the development and utilization of curriculum resources,creatively carry out various activities,enhance students' awareness of learning and using Chinese in various situations,and improve students' Chinese literacy through various ways.And the local curriculum resources as part of the curriculum resources,closer to the actual life of students.If these local curriculum resources are applied to middle school Chinese teaching,then Students will have a deeper understanding of the organic relationship between Chinese learning and life practice,which can not only cultivate students' interest in learning Chinese,but also enrich students' inner feelings.Xinyang area contains rich curriculum resources,such as Xinyang Museum,memorial hall,historical figures,folk culture,natural landscape and so on,especially the green resources,red resources,historical and cultural resources in Xinyang area,which can be used in Chinese teaching in middle schools.Through investigation and analysis,the author finds that these abundant local curriculum resources are not well utilized in Xinyang area,whether urban or rural schools.The phenomenon of idle and wasteful resources is very prominent,some local curriculum resources do not give full play to their own value,it can be said that in the current Xinyang area of middle school Chinese teaching,local curriculum resources should be use is still in the primary stage.This paper aims to study the application of local curriculum resources in middle school Chinese teaching in Xinyang area,and the full text is divided into two parts.First of all,the introduction part,from the background and significance of the topic,research review,the definition of the main concepts to explain the reasons and feasibility of the topic.Thesecond chapter introduces the basis and principle of using local curriculum resources in Chinese teaching,and the second chapter focuses on the local curriculum resources in Xinyang area,which the content and characteristics of local curriculum resources in Xinyang area,and the third chapter introduces the teachers and students of urban and rural schools in Xinyang area by questionnaire and interview The present situation of the application of local curriculum resources in middle school Chinese teaching in Xinyang area;the fourth chapter is the way of the application of local curriculum resources in middle school Chinese teaching in Xinyang area,respectively,the application in classroom teaching and the application in extracurricular practical activities.
