The deepening of the new curriculum reform in high school and the progress and development of the times put forward new requirements for the high quality of high school geography teachers.To this end,university faculties and teachers continue to explore and reform boldly,striving to seek innovation in the development of the community in order to train a large number of outstanding middle school geography teachers.However,after the training of professional teachers,there are still many difficulties that some teachers in the early days of geography teaching work will encounter.It can be seen that there is still room for improvement between higher normal universities and high school in geography curriculum.Because the natural geography is the important foundation in the content of geography,whether the content of the course can be effectively linked is the key and foundation of the effective connection between the higher normal university and the high school geography course.Therefore,this article carried out a preliminary exploration of the relevant aspects,from the angle of focusing on the connection of the natural geography curriculum content convergence between higher normal university and high school natural geography curriculum.Taking the third and fourth grade of geography science teachers trained in educational courses and possessing certain geographical teaching ability,who have already experienced or are experiencing the teaching practice in Jilin Province and surrounding areas while studying in Yanbian University,Changchun Normal University,Tonghua Teachers College and Baicheng Teachers College,or some geography teachers teaching in different high schools of YanBian as research objects,this paper analyses current situation of the natural geography curriculum content convergence characteristics between higher normal university and high school with the questionnaire survey method and summarizes the problems of convergence and the reasons from four aspects.The details are as follows:There are problems about university faculties,for example,literature is compatible with science,increasingly the difficulty of training talents in natural geography course,the curriculum system is set unreasonably,assessment system is imperfect,students are taught in large classes,management system of counselors,poor management of students' study,the neglect of the student's psychology and other issues;There are some problems in the teaching of teachers in colleges and universities,for example,unbalanced teaching ability of the teachers,neglecting the handling of the convergence of the content of the course of natural geography in higher normal university and high school,attaching importance to the teaching of natural geography knowledge,neglecting the training and guidance of the exercises,neglecting the concern about the underachievers;There are some problems about the higher normal university students,for example,poorly initiative learning and self-restraint,low efficiency in using spare time,lacking of independent thinking and research ability,unskilled educational skills,and unfamiliarity with high school natural geography teaching materials and curriculum standards;There are also problems about high school teachers,for example,in the presentation classes high school teachers of the excellent performance did not form a stable education and teaching habit.They lack self-elevating awareness of education and teaching skills.Artisan-based teachers are in the majority of the high school teachers.Teaching and research awareness of high school teachers are weak.They lack long-term communication with higher normal university teachers and other issues.According to the requirements of high school geography curriculum and college entrance examination,the author compares and analyzes the knowledge structure and concrete contents between all the branches of natural geography of higher normal university and teaching materials of senior high school published by people' s education press-Book 1 pointing out the position and similarities and differences of the main convergence points,exploring the useful value of high school teaching materials in high school classroom teaching,which makes recommendations for its reasonable output in high school geography classroom teaching.Based on the above analysis,the following countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the effective connection between the content of the course of higher normal university and the natural geography course of high school:As for the departments of higher normal university,they can set up students' communities for high school geography teaching inquiry,make appropriate adjustments to the education curriculum,improve the examination system,strengthen the student's academic management through a variety of ways,promote association with high school education management institutions and teachers,strengthen the concerns about the students' mental health;In terms of teachers of higher normal university,some of them should be asked to improve natural geography teaching methods and enhance the interesting aspects of the classroom,refer to the relevant research results on the convergence in this paper about all the branches teaching of natural geography,strengthen the emphasis on the natural geography curriculum content cohesion between higher normal university and high school,strengthen the training and guidance of students' exercises,teach students in accordance with their aptitude using stratification and grouping so that the content of classroom teaching can keep pace with the times;When it comes to students in higher normal universities,they should rely on a variety of beneficial activities to overcome the slackness,improve learning initiative and quality of extracurricular life,strengthen the daily consolidation and training of natural geography knowledge and education and teaching skills.They should be familiar with and study high school geography teaching materials and curriculum standards,college entrance examination and other related information.They should be actively concerned about and participate in various types of secondary school geography teaching competition activities;As for high school teachers,they should abandon the bad behaviors,develop a good education and teaching habit,develop the awareness and ability of teaching and researching,transform from artisan-based teachers to research-oriented teachers and so on.
