In the 21 st century,the international competition is increasingly fierce,countries in order to train the scientific talents adapting to international competition,have taken different education reform.As a model of science education,HPS education in recent years,Western educators,on the basis of constructivism,integrate the history of science,philosophy of science and sociology of science into the classroom teaching practice,so as to deepen students ' understanding of science from a young age,and to promote the formation of the values of loving science and discovering science.Develop the habit of observing problems with the scientific mind,so as to improve the students ' scientific literacy,but also can help teachers to attract students ' attention and improve classroom efficiency.Geography class is a relatively abstract,and rational thinking of a relatively strong course,in particular,the natural geography part,contains a lot of science education content,and students can not blindly only know learning knowledge,more important is to learn to use knowledge to solve practical problems,in the emotional attitude and values also want to develop truth,truth-seeking scientific attitude,Improve their professional quality.Therefore,in the teaching of geography course,it is necessary to integrate the relevant content of science education in the natural geography,to tell the story,display the picture,play the video way,impart the life story of the geologist to the students,so as to cultivate the students ' geography accomplishment,let them understand the hard-won knowledge,and strengthen the importance to the geography study,Solve problems in life with scientific thinking.Today,in our country's high school geography classroom teaching,because the teacher still commonly uses "the cramming" the teaching,causes the student to be absent in the class,the lecture is not concentrated,the teacher does not have the fervor and so on question appearance,therefore urgently needs a new teaching pattern,has broken the teaching present situation.Through the collection of a large number of domestic and foreign research materials,this paper combs the general concept of HPS education,analyzes the necessity of integrating HPS education into the teaching of natural geography,and collates the distribution of the natural geography content in the three geography compulsory textbooks of the high school,and enumerates the integration of HPS education in compulsory one.Then,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the geography teachers and students of several high schools in Yantai,and the present situation of HPS education in Yantai's natural geography classroom teaching was analyzed,and it was found that teachers ' HPS education related Knowledge reserve insufficiency,natural geography classroom teaching method tradition,little integration into HPS education related content,The students ' classroom atmosphere is insufficient,the class performance is poor and so on.Finally,the paper puts forward some countermeasures to the problems existing in the classroom teaching of natural geography in our Senior high school,aiming at strengthening teachers ' attention to HPS education,changing teachers ' teaching concepts,promoting the smooth conduct of classroom teaching of natural geography in senior high school,improving classroom learning efficiency and students ' interest in learning natural geography,and develop a good geographical quality.
