| The university education and secondary education, which are complex, delicate andclosely related, play important roles in modern school education. Due to the similarity ofconsistency, derivation and consistency, and the generality of stage, hierarchy and otherness, thenormal university was redefined with another profound significance, the cradle of the secondaryteachers. In order to finish the teaching assignment, both normal university teachers andsecondary teachers ignored the connection of the two sections in education, they concentratedon considering finishing the assignment as it stand in traditional curriculum programs andteaching system. As the two sections of geography education were separated artificially, it isextremely necessary to conduct a study of linking them up. Theoretically, the study focuses onthe development of geography education theory and geography education subject in normaluniversity. In favor of the systematization of the geography subject, this study puts on anexpansion of the normal university geography education and the fundamental geographyeducation. The study will also provide a guidance of linking up the curriculum content of thetwo sections, which means an improvement of the current situation. Based on the reference ofthis study, the secondary geography education will get improved by the increasing numbers ofexcellent secondary geography teachers.This article focuses on the situation of the normal university and secondary geographyeducation. With the reference of the domestic and overseas document literature, the writerdesigned two kinds of questionnaire to make a thorough inquiry on the connection and thedistinction between university and secondary geography education by interviewing normaluniversity geography teachers and taking normal university and secondary geography lessons.Based on the singularity of connection of the normal university and secondary geographyeducation, the study showed the problems such the ignored teaching practicing and the lack ofconnection. Now there are some solution and countermeasure of these problems. Firstly,education, geographical teaching and practicing courses should be added to the normaluniversity geographical teaching subject. Secondary, the normal university geography teachersshould use various modes of instruction with different teaching methods. Then the connectionbetween the two sections should be set up to make a change to the exchanges and cooperation. Forth, the normal university geography teaching student should learn initiatively to get rid ofthe inertance of former subject. At the end, we should pay attention to the continuing educationand training by participating in teaching practicing and so on. The only way to make aconnection between normal university geographical teaching and secondary geographicalteaching is the different improvement of the geography education in both normal university andsecondary school. |
