The tourism industry has paved the way for the employment of graduates majoring in tourism management with its booming development and good prospects.However,the current employment situation of the students,especially the employment situation of undergraduate students is becoming more and more serious,which make people have to think deeply about the causes of this paradox.Curriculum system is an important carrier to achieve the goal of personnel training,and is also the core element to ensure the quality of personnel training.Therefore,under the background of graduate students' employment problem,the reform of tourism management curriculum system is imperative.Since students are the subject of higher education,and the core stakeholders of curriculum system construction,the tourism curriculum system reform,only in the “people-oriented” philosophy of education,meet the needs of students,win students' satisfaction,could promote the quality and level of tourism education.In view of this,from the perspective of student satisfaction,aim at the problems existing in the undergraduate curriculum system of tourism management,analysis and discuss the countermeasures and suggestions of optimizing the construction of curriculum system,have important theoretical and practical significance to both improve the students' learning effect and the quality of personnel training.Based on the analysis of customer satisfaction theory and curriculum system theory,this paper use the self-designed “Tourism Management Curriculum System Student Satisfaction Questionnaire” to invest undergraduate students majoring in Tourism Management at Zhongshan University,Shaanxi Normal University,Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Guilin University of Technology.The results show that the satisfaction degree of undergraduate students in four colleges and universities is under the middle level.And there are significant differences in the satisfaction of students in different grades and different institutions.Then,according to the student satisfaction survey results,this paper through targeted to individual students in-depth interviews found that featureless of curriculum objective,outmoded and repeated curriculum content,imbalance of curriculum structure,Low effectiveness of curriculum resources,dull curriculum implementation method and inflexible curriculum evaluation are the main reasons for the students to be less satisfied with the curriculum system.Finally,this paper based on the results of the empirical investigation analysis and discuss the countermeasures and suggestions of optimizing the curriculum system construction from these aspects.The paper argues that aiming at the problems existing in the construction of undergraduate curriculum system of Tourism Management Specialty in China,only by improving the quality of student employment as a core to enhance the adaptability and characteristics of the training objectives;meeting the needs of students as the guidance to strengthen the integration and innovation of curriculum content;achieving the balanced development of students as the purpose to strengthen the balance and coordination of curriculum structure;developing the students' thinking ability as the key to strengthen the openness and guidance of the course teaching;ensuring the quality of students' learning as a principle to strengthen the perfection and effectiveness of curriculum resources;promoting the all-round development of students as the purpose to emphasis the diversity and development of curriculum evaluation can we promote the reform and optimization of the undergraduate curriculum system of tourism management and improve the quality of tourism talents training.
