In recent years,the market demand for tourism service and management professionals is growing in China.Secondary vocational education urgently needs to cultivate tourism service and management professionals who are satisfied with the needs of society and enterprises.In accordance with the specific requirements of the “Deepening Curriculum Reform” proposed in the “National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan”,this study follows the“mutually learn from each other and improve together”and randomly selects three secondary vocational schools from the three provinces of Fujian,Jiangsu and Hebei.The talent training goals and curriculum setting of tourism service and management specialty were compared.This study analysed the support degree of the existing curriculum to the goal of personnel training,and put forward the corresponding optimization measures and suggestions.The comparative study found that there are similarities and differences of talent training goals between the three vocational schools' tourism services and management specialty.The similarities lied in the requirements of ideological and moral quality,the principle of establishing goals,and the needs of the industry.The difference lied in the occupation(post)orientation,sustainability and professional qualification requirements of the talent training goals.Generally speaking,the training objectives of the tourism service and management specialty in secondary vocational schools reflected the social requirements and highlight the local characteristics.This study found that the overall situation of the curriculum setting of tourism services and management specialty in the three secondary vocational schools were quite different.The cultural foundation course consisted of three parts: moral education curriculum,cultural curriculum and general skills curriculum.The moral education curriculum was basically the same,but the arrangement of cultural curriculum and general skills curriculum were different.Professional basic curriculum and professional curriculum also presented the situation that the number of courses and the hours of courses are inconsistent.This study analyzed the support degree of the professional curriculum to the personal training objectives found that the existing curriculum can basically support the realization of the talent training goals,but there were still many areas for improvement.This study believed that the current targeted and directional orientation of the talent training goals of the three secondary vocational schools needs to be strengthened.The scientific and systematic nature of the curriculum needs to be improved.The comprehensive practical curriculum is still to be added,and the traditional curriculum management system is still need to be further improved and other issues.This study proposed that it is necessary to determine the talent training objectives based on the development characteristics of the regional development tourism industry,scientifically determine the professional curriculum according to the target support,increase the practical curriculum hours based on the post needs,and increase the skills elective courses based on the employment needs.At the same time,we should continue to optimize the environment of students' technical skills generation,strengthen the assessment and evaluation of students' vocational ability,find out the specific problems existing in the process of education and teaching in time,and take effective measures to solve them,and strive to establish secondary vocational education which is satisfactory to the people.
