Nowadays,with the rapid development of science and technology, students must have the ability of lifelong learning to adapt to the development of The Times.The traditional teaching mode ignores students'subject status.The new curriculum reform requires teachers to give the classroom back to students.High school students already have a certain autonomy. They are eager to have independent space and time and that not everything is arranged.For these reasons, this paper is guided by the lifelong educational thought and diathetic educational thought,supported by theoretical knowledge of behaviorism and constructivism, such as education and psychology, based on the current research of autonomous learning at home and abroad, combined with the local conditions of teaching, and carries out the research on autonomous learning in high school biology.First of all, the author, using investigation and interview method, understands 80 teachers' attitude to carry out autonomous learning in senior middle 15 schools of Pingdingshan and Lushan and finds out that teachers think the autonomous learning effect is not ideal. By exploring the situation of 263 students'autonomous learning in second senior middle school of Lushan, the author finds that students are short of awareness of autonomous learning .The investigation show that carrying out the autonomous learning is imperative. Basing on the above research and analysis, I use my four senior one classes to put up control experiments, in which two classes as the experimental classes, conducted with the strategies of autonomous learning, two classes as the control classes, conducted with the traditional mode of teaching,Research results show that: (1) The present situation of senior high school students' autonomous learning in biology is not optimistic. (2) By means of autonomous learning and the implementation of autonomous learning in teaching, can improve the students' ability of autonomous learning in biology. (3) The effect of the strategies of autonomous learning differs on different levels of students, especially better on excellent and average level students. Accordingly, the study suggests that teachers need to change the teaching ideas,complying with the requirements of the times, integrate a variety of teaching methods to stimulate students'interest in learning through different teaching methods, make full use of self-learning teaching strategies,and strive to improve the ability of independent learning.The study ,combined with the author's teachingpractice, explores further the strategies to stimulate students' study interest of biological and the methods to develop the students' independent study in high school biology .The author guides the student to master the method of fast and effective carding knowledge by guiding students to make an effective review plan before the exam and learn how to summarize. And good results have been achieved in teaching practice.In this paper, the research on autonomous learning in high school biology, taking second senior middle school of Lushan as an example, has carried out a useful exploration in developing autonomous Learning in high school biology teaching and has accumulated some successful experiences, which is helpful for the further research on the law of the high school students' autonomous learning and the promotion of autonomous learning.
