Cooperative learning,as an attractive,newly advocated teaching method,has been widely used in high school Ideological and Political Course,under the deepening basic education curriculum reformation.However,with the in-depth study and practice of scholars and front-line teachers,it shows up a series of problems,such as the mere formality,the solidified cooperative forms,the incorrect positioning among teachers and students,the insufficient of cooperation skills and so on,which greatly weakens the effectiveness on it.Consequently,it becomes an important task for educators to explore how to improve its effective development in Ideological and Political Course.As a new type of learning tool,mind mapping has its positive effect on enhancing memory,promoting divergent thinking and stimulating creative thinking.Its founder,Tony Buzan holds the view that the usage of mind mapping in collective learning can be more efficient than brainstorming.Thus,this paper intends to apply the mind mapping as the intermediary,then to alleviate the current problems and improve the efficiency on cooperative learning in Ideological and Political Course.Based on the theories of cooperative learning and mind mapping,this paper combines the current situation of cooperative learning,and utilizes literature analysis,questionnaire survey,comparative experiment,case analysis,action research for exploring the feasibility and validity of applying mind mapping into cooperative learning in Ideological and Political Course.The full text is divided into three parts.The first part discusses the theoretical basis and necessity of the application of mindmapping,and shows that mind mapping is able to and needing to be applied in cooperative learning in high school Ideological and Political Course.The second part explores the application of mind mapping on the cooperative learning in high school Ideological and Political Course,and carries out the specific operation on teaching experiment.At last,the feasibility and validity are verified by the teaching test and questionnaire survey.The third part combines the results of teaching experiment with the author's observation in action research,to reflect on the application of mind mapping,to summarize the problems and to put forward the corresponding optimized strategies which will provide the reference for further research and other disciplines.
