A Study On The Application Of Mind Mapping In Ideological And Political

Despite the improvement of the ideological and political curriculum in middle schools, there are still a lot of problems such as inappropriate teaching methods, too much emphasis on the inculcation of knowledge, and lack of scientific methods to remember the knowledge. As a result, the teaching objectives of this curriculum can not be fully achieved in actual classes. So the purpose of this article is to find a more efficient teaching strategy for the ideological and political curriculum, thus the article will focus on the application of mind mapping in this curriculum on the basis of theoretical analysis. The mind map, invented by Tony Buzan, is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea, which is undoubtedly supposed to enhance memory and creativity. This article will also focus on exploring the teaching strategies on how to apply mind mapping into the ideological and political classes, in order to stimulate students’interest in this course and improve the ability of creative thinking, which eventually will improve the teaching effects on this curriculum.This article consists of the following five parts:the first part is mainly about the literature review, the introduction of mind map, research methods and the significance of the research. The second part describes the significance of the application of mind mapping into the ideological and political curriculum. The third part focuses on the strategies of applying mind mapping. The fourth part is the thinking and reflection of the application of mind mapping in ideological and political classes.Some useful exploration has been carried out in this article on the application of mind mapping into the ideological and political classes, and a lot more is still to be done to further discover the value of this application because mind mapping is widely accepted as a new but really effective memory tool.
