Chinese,as one of the oldest discipline,has a long history,arguably the most profound influence on students.It not only has tool character,but also undertakes the function of humanity teaching.The Chinese teacher occupies an important position in the process of the growth of the students.Thus,the discussions about the role of the Chinese teacher have existed since ancient times.And with the progress of society,the push of history,the development of educational teaching theory,the public's cognition about the role of the Chinese teacher,our education theories research's position about the role of the Chinese teacher is on changing.This paper uses an entry point from these two sides,first of all,by using the method of investigation to informality interview with multiple people,those who have different position,different status,and different vocations.Through this investigation,we found that the cognitions about the role of the Chinese teacher is of discrepancy,even there is a conflict between them.Then,by referring to a large number of relevant literatures,combing and analyzing the contents about the position of the Chinese teacher under the context of oureducation theories research.It is tempting to conclude that,those discussions about the role of the Chinese teacher mostly from the following aspects,the expectations of the teacher from the society,the strict requirements from the curriculum standards and the high standards from curriculum reformation.In these situations,the teacher is simply regarded as a kind of tools.Thus,in the context of realities and researches,actually the Chinese teacher is in a vulnerable situation.Therefore,this paper starts from the realistic predicament of the Chinese teacher,and from two aspects: the objective environment and teacher's perform to perform causal analysis.It protested the necessity to restudy and reposition the role of the Chinese teacher.To reposition the role of the Chinese teacher,must to analyze the concepts and the properties of the role of the Chinese teacher firstly.According to the analysis of the Chinese teacher's concepts,this paper bases on the humanism point,having established that to position the role of the Chinese teacher should return to the dual identities of the Chinese teacher: as human beings and as a kind of professions,trying to think and answer some essential questions such as: the Chinese teacher is what and means what and so on.So this paperreturns to the Chinese teacher itself to discuss and analysis the role of the Chinese teacher,from human being?teacher?the Chinese teacher such three levels,from regarding the Chinese teacher as ordinary people,as a kind of special profession,as the main part of education and teaching,and as the instructor of Chinese subject such four perspectives.What's more,through discussing what the Chinese subject is,according to the characteristics of Chinese subject,this paper discusses the role of the Chinese teacher from three points of view: utterance,literature and culture,so this paper position the role of Chinese teacher as language teacher,humanities teacher and spiritual teacher.The purpose and value of this paper is returning to the Chinese teacher itself to discuss and analysis the role of the Chinese teacher,intending to correct the cognitive distortion about the Chinese teacher from the public and our education theories research,hoping to call on the public and society play more attention on the Chinese teacher's profession and living condition,this paper also hope the Chinese teacher could firmly believe the connotation of the rote as a teacher,then set up the value pursuit of their own,so as to emancipate the Chinese teacher form the current predicament.Ultimately leadthe Chinese teacher to be a teacher,who is containing someone in the eye,containing culture in the brain,containing love in the heart,and containing the bright in the eye.
