Nowadays, with a constant update of science and technology and an increasing improvement of economy, spiritual civilization is as important as material civilization. At the same time, people’s demands grow. Because of the increasingly intense competition in comprehensive national strength, it is of great importance to enhance our nation’s comprehensive quality. To educate and develop students in an all-around way, music education of secondary school plays an important role which any other subjects can never replace. Music teachers of secondary school are responsible for the music education of secondary school. So, it is of great significance to do psychological researches on music teachers of secondary school, which will promote the education of music students and teachers, advocate their physical and mental development, and even further contribute to our nation’s rejuvenation. Under the instruction of present curriculum reform and the new curriculum standard, this thesis, from the perspectives of pedagogy and educational psychology, explores the excellent role localization of music teachers in secondary school together with their teaching practice and teaching reflection through studying music pedagogy and music education psychology. That is, explore the uniqueness of music teacher about their professional role from the general professional role of teachers, so that the excellent role localization promotes their music teaching.The thesis includes four parts. The first part is the literature review of some theories about teachers’ professional roles and the professional roles-localization of teachers. The second part presents the definition, contents and the establishment of music teachers’ professional roles in secondary school. The third part analyzes the professional roles-localization of music teachers in secondary school from different perspectives. The fourth part points out that there are some problems in locating the professional role of music teachers in secondary school, and further puts forward some specific solutions. Finally, the thesis explores the significance of an excellent professional roles-localization of music teachers in secondary school. By researching the professional roles-localization of music teachers, the thesis aims at helping music teachers learn more about the psychological construction of teachers’ professional role in the process of teaching. Thus, music teachers in secondary school can establish a stable and appropriate self-concept to meet the role expectations from the society, schools and parents; therefore, they can understand, master and play various roles to improve their teaching skills and promote their professional specialization...
