Research On The Basic Theory In The Governance Research Of The Current Universities

In recent years,with the in-depth development of the higher education reform,university governance research has become the key research object of higher education research,which is an important part of the research of educational governance system.University governance research is a complex and comprehensive process,involving a wide range of aspects and many constraints,not only including education administration and teaching quality management,but including reasonable settings of academic and administrative institutions,supervision and evaluation institutions,as well as the macro-control of government,social participation,supervision of all parties,autonomous school-running and so on.University governance research carries the sustainable development of scientific university,the creation and inheritance of knowledge,humanistic spirit and academic pursuit,it is the development key of nation and society.At present,many universities in China carry out in-depth study of university governance,combine with the actual situation of the school itself to implement governance reform,and have achieved good results.Because the time of “university governance" is introduced into our country's higher education's short,we need theretical support in the process of university governance research and practical operation.Researching on the relevant theories of the university governance research contributes to solve the problems of university governance research and promote the development of university governance research.I summarized the literature of university governance research and found that the common theories in the university governance research were the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory,which showed the importance of these three theories in university governance research.In order to promote the basic understanding of the existing university governance research and improve the quality of university governance research,this paper researches on the university governance research in our country in recent ten years.This paper takes common theories of the stakeholder theory,principal-agent theory and corporate governance theory as research objects,and static analyzes748 literature of CSSCI source journals of university governance theory to present the current situation of university governance research theory and research content,finding problems,exploring the development direction of university governance and putting forward some appropriate suggestions.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the analysis of the basic situation for the research of university governance theory.In general,there are rich literature of university governance theory and many theoretical researchers,involving a variety of fields,but still showing a certain concentricity.Among them,the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory are most used in university governance research.The second part analyzes the problems from the specific problems and contents of the university governance research,which are common concerned by the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory,and seeks the relationship between university governance research and theory.On the whole,the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory are concerned with the wide range of university governance content and multiple angles,the university governance content is interrelated and mutual restriction to some extent.The third part is through the content analysis of the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory to explain the problems and countermeasures of the theoretical research of university governance research in China.Generally speaking,the stakeholder theory,the principal-agent theory and the corporate governance theory pay attention to the research of themselves and university governance,and also focus on the practical problems of university governance.Adhere to the same importance of theory and practice,so that the theoretical research of university governance have practicability and scientificity.In the value orientation and development of university governance research,we should abandon the administrative standard and promote the coordinated development of university governance research through the value orientation of academic standard.The fourth part is my conclusions and suggestions.I think that in the theoretical research and development of university governance research,university governance research should insist on the combination of academic freedom,autonomous school-running,the cortical research and empirical research,paying equal attention to the theoretical research and the practical research,promoting the establishment of multiple center of university governance research.
