Genesis Of University's Governance And Construction

As the competition becomes fiercer and sic-technology develops rapidly, a voice of humanism education running up, universities face wondrously complex society surrounding and abroad society demand. Since the role of universities becomes more and more important, all sorts of society power filters universities, pressing on with controlling universities so as to make universities the leading voice of autogenously interests. Contradiction among principal interest parts in internal universities extrudes. Universities are filling with struggles of rights, controlling and anti-controlling among the interests parts. Comparing with traditional university, the social function of modern universities is changing. Under this condition, all the countries are studying how to set up the construction of universities perfectly in order to balance the powers of society and exert the function of universities in the future. It can be said that how to manage the complex organization structure university and deal with the relationship among the tradition, university and society have become a collective task for higher education in the world.The text is divided into five parts: The first part: preface. Introducing research purpose, approaches basic thinking, and international research about governance structure. It is propitious to the change of government function and nongovernmental organization, democratization and scientific decision-making in internal university. The second part: Analyzing the theoretical foundation of governance structure. Principal-agent theory can explain the problem of motivation scarcity. The stakeholder's theory analyzes the problems in university's governance structure from a new view. The property of human capital theory sustains the view of the importance of teachers. The third part: the genesis of university's governance and construction. The genesis of university's governance lies in the tradition and mission of university, theproperty of human capital and responding to the corporate governance. It has three characters. The fourth part: Analyzing the governance structure of university and pointed the problems. The external problem is mostly the relationship of government;the internal problem is the contradiction of rights. The fifth part: According to the principles of governance, discussing about the foundation of university's governance structure. The external structure is how to deal with the relationship among university, government and society and balance the right. This article proposes the roles of them and a common plan.
