Being an important task throughout the education system of our country,the ideological and political education could exert direct influence among the young people on their establishment of scientific and positive worldview,outlook on life and values.At the stage of basic education,especially of junior high,the task concentrates itself on the teaching of ideology and morality.Nowadays in China,the economic and social situation and the development of Ideological and Moral Education in junior high are paid close attention to.Therefore,research on the application of “Red Resources” in Ideological and Moral Education is of great theoretical value and practical significance.This paper is written on the theme of “research on the instructional application of Red Resources in Northern Anhui to Ideological and Moral Education in junior high”.Moreover,the main thread running through the paper is the relationship between Red Resources and the instruction of Ideological and Moral Education.By the method of the theoretical and empirical study,the paper also delves into the exploitation of Red Resources in Ideological and Moral Education.This paper is developed in three levels.As for the first level,it is based on the definition of the main concepts in the paper like “Red Resources” and “course design”.In addition,it analyzes the necessity and feasibility of applying Red Resources to Ideological and Moral Education from such four aspects as serious situation of the worldwide ideological struggle,the policy implication and value orientation of the New Curriculum Reform,the lack of enrichment and development in the Ideological and Moral Education resources as well as the feasibility of integrating Red Resources into the course.The second level is a case study of Huaibei middle school in S,using the method of questionnaire survey to study the application of red resources in the ideological and political moral class in the junior middle school in northern Anhui.Based on the results,reasons for the existing problems concerning the application of “Red Resources” in Ideological and Moral Education in junior high are deeply analyzed.On the third level,main strategies are put forward to promote the exploitation of “Red Resources” in the Ideological and Moral Education from four different perspectives—teaching materials,schools,teachers and students.These strategies include attaching importance to the introduction of Red Resources into textbooks,raising the consciousness of teachers to utilize the resources,adopting relevant teaching modes creatively and emphasizing the roles of students during the process.
