Status And Strategic Research Of PE Selective Course In Northern Anhui Region High Schools

Northern Anhui usually refers to the north of huai River and the huai area ,including Bengbu, Huainan and Huaibei, Fuyang, Suzhou, Bozhou ( Anhui total of 17 cities) . It has one third areas and nearly 1/2 population in anhui, but it belongs to be a less-developed central region with economic development relatively backward, students in numerous and teaching resources shortage.Optional sports teaching is the direction of high school sports curriculum reform ,the window of the new curriculum reform.The implementation of sports elective teaching and the degree and result of the implementation have direct effect on the quality of the school sports teaching to the school education, and at the same time, it can also produce very big effect. According to the experimental implementation plan of the new curriculum of average high school in anhui province, northern anhui elective course teaching of high school has been implemented for recent 5 years since the autumn of 2006.Based on 18 high schools of six citys in the northern of anhui as the research object, the thesis uses the literature material method, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics to investigate and analyse PE options teaching 0f 18 high schools in northern anhui, the results show that:Firstly, northern Anhui teachers Strength is insufficient, teacher's workload is big; female sports teachers is scarce; Northern anhui high school sports teacher education mainly concentrates in undergraduate level, specialist qualifications' physical teachers are a little too high proportion; Northern anhui high school sports teacher titles are mainly concentrated in high school senior and middle school level, teachers' professional titles on structure are reasonable proportion; Teacher's professional skill distribution is irrational , some new project almost has no teachers; Teacher training times is inadequate.Secondly, sports facilities between northern Anhui schools are biggish difference, The lack of some high schools sports facilities has the serious influence on the implement of elective course .Thirdly, northern anhui teachers and students generally welcome elective course teaching; some teachers and students in northern didn't understand anhui elective course teaching deeply, the some school leaders also play enough insufficient attention to elective course teaching.Fourthly, northern anhui elective course project mainly concentrated in traditional project, that students prefer to open the new project is shortage.Fifthly, northern anhui elective course lacks textbooks.Finally, part teachers didn't get the attention to affective expression and cooperation spirit evaluation; health behavior evaluation; evaluation between students and teachers, the evaluation scales are also some differences.According to the problems existing in northern anhui high school sports elective course, connecting with the northern anhui high school teaching conditions, I has put forward the following countermeasures:Firstly, the school leader should improve the understanding and change the idea. The school should strengthen to study sports elective course, recognize the meaning of sports elective course and function, change the idea and update the thought.Secondly, strengthen supervision. Education administrative departments should strengthen the school sports elective courses examination and supervision to let leadership and teachers support and pay more attention to sports elective course; School leaders should strengthen the implementation of elective course system and the implementation of the examination and supervision.Thirdly, strengthen the construction of the teaching staff. Physical education teachers should strengthen the training and gaining, extend their the aspect of knowledge, enhances their teaching ability, make them growth for complex teachers; In introducing new teachers high schools should pay attention to physical education teachers have the professional, gender structure proportion coordination.Fourthly, strengthen to input sports facilities and location equipment. To increase the implementation of sports, location equipment input construction and development is for the successful developing of sports elective course to provide powerful material guarantee.Fifthly, increase options project. Because the elective course in Northern anhui has less options to teach, The can't meet students interest and the needs of the options, options project must be increased in order to meet the needs of the students study options.Sixthly, perfect an evaluation system. Should pay attention to evaluation of the diversity of the evaluation method, connecting with evaluation of teachers and the students' self evaluation, and mutual evaluation organically, and make the results of evaluation more scientific and reasonable.Seventhly, strengthen the exchange. Northern anhui education departments at various levels shall organize and carry out the seminar, share the achievements in the process of the schools in developing elective course and solve the difficulty they have ever met, common efforts to boost the positive development of northern anhui high school sports elective course.
