The Study Of Traditional Sports Event Schools In Linquan County

Traditional sports event schools refer to those primary and secondary schools that carry out sports activities remarkably well,have developed their own tradition,and own at least one characteristic sporting event.They're the basic element of training excellent reserved talents.After collecting and analyzing existing literature on Traditional sports event schools,compared with studies in developed areas,studies in central and eastern China are comparatively less.There's no existing study on traditional sports event schools conducted in this state poverty county.This paper is to analyze the current situation of Linquan traditional sports event schools,find out their deficiency and provide some ideas for better improvements.This paper combines the methods of literature,field investigation,interview and questionnaire,aiming to put forward a sustainable urban-rural integration strategy.Six traditional sports event schools have been founded in Linquan county since 2012.The investigation suggests they have several problems.They lack rational planning.The scale is too small and some schools only set up one sports event.Sporting competition and funding management are outdated.The investment on these schools is insufficient and the source of funds is too single.Conflicts in training are obvious and there's no guarantee of training time.By the year 2012,there's only one traditional sports event school in Linquan county which is Jingbo Middle School.Although it has achieved a great success,yet it obviously can't satisfy the needs of so many students in Linquan.For better development,these schools should take effective actions.Enhance the rational planning of traditional sports event schools to follow the development mode of urban-rural integration,from primary to high school;legalize school management and increase sporting competitions,developing in communications;Strengthen athletes' academic subjects to combine training and learning to solve the conflict,and enhance their performance;Choose more sporting events,and support dominant sporting events in rural areas such as aerobics,basketball and football.Making full use of physical education resources in primary and secondary school to improve the infrastructure.Seeking supports from society to ease the pressure on insufficient funds.
