A project of vital and lasting importance calls above all for education and cultivation-oriented is the foundation in educational plan; Teachers, a major factor, are of great importance for the progress of education. Due to unbalanced economic development as well as the deeply rooted opinion of "examination for education" system, this, unfortunately, will not be likely changed in a short time. Thus, teachers are facing great pressure inevitably. At the same time, low-income and bad working conditions in rural areas also put this issue even more badly. As a result, the rural areas are suffering a brain drain, causing large number of gifted teachers to leave the countryside. The problem of brain drain has become the bottleneck for the economic advancement in rural regions, needing to be resolved urgently. So to speak, the problems of today's education will be tomorrow's social disasters. Therefore, the study on the existing problems and strategies of drainage of teachers in rural primary and secondary schools has become the problem which has to be solved immediately. The study has theoretic values and is of practical guiding significance. Nevertheless, existing related researches on it is still underdeveloped, especially the practical investigations and studies are very lack. As for this, with an effort to solve the problems of brain drain, the dissertation takes Linquan County of Anhui Province as an example. By means of on-site investigation, also with the help of my teaching experience, starting with the necessity of balanced development of Nine-year Compulsory Education, the author discusses the influence, reasons and strategies for the issue. The dissertation is divided into five parts:Part One: IntroductionThe part focuses on briefly explaining the scope, contents and purposes of the research; meanwhile, it also involves the origin and significance, the key points, difficulties, new ideas of the study as well as the methodology and thoughts adopted by the author. On this base, the structure of the study is attempted to build. Part Two: the Investigation of the Drainage of Teachers in Linquan CountyThough interviews, the author has the knowledge of the economic and educational condition of Linquan County. By means of analyzing the data of the interviews, the existing problems and characteristics of the drainage of rural teachers in Linquan County can be witnessed.Part Three: Exploration of the Relevant ReasonsThrough analyzing the data of the interviews about the drainage in rural teachers in Linquan County, the main reasons for brain drain can be drawn out in the perspective of the theoretical and factual analysis. Part Four: StrategiesAfter carefully pondering the relevant reasons of the brain drain, the writer makes lots of rational reflection from the angles of economics,educational administration, psychology and educational policy science. We should explore the solution of the brain drain by embarking on the treatment of teachers, teacher allocation, school administration, policy adjustment and the needs of teachers. Conclusion:On the basis of my investigation, the paper summaries the research and also point out some inadequacies of this research in the hope of finding some clues for my further study after graduation.
