Nowadays, the research on the application of modern educationaltechnology has aroused widespread concern, but the research on the application ofmodern educational technology in private middle schools is relatively rare. Since theissue of "The Implementation Guidelines of the Ministry of Education onEncouraging and Guiding Private Capital to Invest in the Field of Education toPromote the Healthy Development of Private Education in2012" and the permissionof private capital’s investment in private middle schools have boomed up dramatically,which makes it necessary to study the application of modern education technology inthe private middle schools. In order to enrich the related theories, this paper centers onthe current application status of modern educational technology in the privatemiddle schools in Linquan County. This paper analyzes the current application statusof modern educational technology in the private schools in Linquan County throughquestionnaires, interviews and on-the-spot investigations, finds out the problems, andputs forward solutions to them in hope that this study can further promote thewidespread application of modern educational technology in private middle schools inLinquan County, and the long-term sustainable development of private middle schoolsin Linquan County.This article mainly includes the following parts:The first part: Discoursing on the background and significance of the research, thedomestic and foreign development of modern educational technology, researchprocess and methods.The second part: Outlining the main theoretical basis of the research.First of all, the paper defines the concept of private middle schools and moderneducational technology. Secondly, the paper discusses the importance of the application of modern educationaltechnology in private middle schools: Ⅰ.It is the breakthrough point of deepening theeducation reform of private middle school. Ⅱ.It is the key to improve the teachingquality of private middle schools. Ⅲ. It plays a vital role in helping school privatemiddle schools to become famous ones.Finally, this paper expounds the theoretical basis of the application of moderneducational technology in private middle schools: Ⅰ. The Communication Theory; Ⅱ.The Audio-visual Education Theory; Ⅲ. The Behavioral Learning Theory; Ⅳ. TheHumanism Learning Theory; Ⅴ. Zakov’s Theory of the Development of Teaching; Ⅵ.Baban J Ki’s Teaching Optimization Theory.The third part: Investigating and analyzing of the present application status of moderneducational technology in the private middle schools in Linquan County.First, it is a brief introduction to regional development and education background inLinquan County.Secondly, it makes an investigation and then an analysis of the differences in theconstruction of the hardware facilities of the modern educational technology betweenthe private and public middle schools in Linquan County.Finally, it is an investigation of the present situation of the teachers’ application ofmodern educational technology in private middle schools. The main research contentsare as follows: Ⅰ.The investigation and analysis of teachers’ understanding ofmodern educational technology in private middle schools; Ⅱ. The investigation andanalysis of the teachers’ training in modern educational technology in private schools;Ⅲ. The investigation and analysis of the private middle school teachers’ applicationof modern educational technology. Ⅳ.The investigation and analysis of the privatemiddle school students’ application of modern educational technology. The contentmainly includes the following aspects: ⅰ. The investigation and analysis of theprivate middle school students’ understanding of modern educational technology.ⅱ.The middle school students’ application of information technology. ⅲ. Privatemiddle school students’ views about the effects of multimedia teaching. ⅳ.The investigation and analysis of private school students’ use of the correspondingequipment of modern educational technology. The main research content is as follows:a. Whether the number of computers meets teaching needs; b. the construction statusof the campus network; c. The introduction and use of the new teaching equipment ofmodern educational technology.The fourth part: The bottleneck in the development of modern educational technologyin private middle schools. The main causes are as follows: Ⅰ.the economic limitation;Ⅱ. the lack of talents; Ⅲ.the old notions; Ⅳ. the loose management; Ⅴ. the lack oftraining.The fifth part: The countermeasures to improve the ability to use modern educationaltechnology in private middle schools in Linquan county, which are as follows:Ⅰ.raising funds to improve the level of the equipment of technology of moderneducation; Ⅱ.introducing talents to optimize the application of modern educationaltechnology; Ⅲ.strengthening management and forming a scientific evaluation systemto inspire teachers to actively apply modern educational technology; Ⅳ. effectivetraining to improve the teachers’ ability to use modern educational technology; Ⅴ.transforming old notions to improve the level of application of modern educationaltechnology in private middle schools.The sixth part: The ending of the thesis. This part elaborates on the main conclusionsdrawn in this paper and points out the shortcomings of depending too much onmodern education technology and countermeasures. In addition, it also looks forwardto the prospects of the application of modern educational technology in the privateschools in Linquan County.
