The System Of The French General-subject Primary School Teachers' Training And Enlightenment For Teachers In China

As the first country to carry out normal education,France has a long history.However,the training of primary school teachers did not get too much attention before the twentieth century,and the primary school teachers had a low social status.With the development of politics and economy,French started to put emphasis on the development of primary education,attaching more importance to primary teacher training.Over the past two decades,French primary school teachers' training system has made great changes for three times: establishing IUFM(Institut universitaire de formation des maitres)in 1989,merging IUFM into university in 2005,establishing ESPE(écoles supérieures du professorat et de l'éducation)in 2013 respectively.At present,ESPE is the main institute to implement the general teachers' training system of French primary school.The general-subject teachers' training system of French primary school is relatively reasonable and complete.This thesis mainly did a research on the general-subject teachers' training system of French primary school from six perspectives,including implement organization,training objective,study period,course learning,educational practice,examination and evaluation.It also be seen from the study that there are lots of requirements as a French primary school teacher,however,they usually earn a good treatment and enjoy a high reputation in society.Similarly,the training system is also strict and meticulous.The train system is improving,which promotes the professional development of French primary school teachers and enhance teacher's comprehensive quality and teaching ability,and thus accelerating the development of French basic education.With the development of economy and politics,setting a higher request to the development of education,how to optimize the teaching staff has been the key point to enhance the quality of education.In 2014,opinions about the implementation of outstanding teacher teaching plan has been issued by the Ministry of Education.The document pointed out that it is necessary to give priority to exploring the training pattern of the primary general-subject teachers,aiming at deepen the reform of teachers' training and foster a group of outstanding primary teachers who love teaching,have comprehensive knowledge and ability,and be able to meet themulti-disciplinary teaching needs of the primary school.Now,the general-subjuect teachers' training of primary school get much attention from education administration departments,normal universities,first-line school and research scholars.When establishing our own general-subject teachers' training system of primary school,it is worth for our country to learn from the French and to take the situation of our country into consideration.In order to promote the professional development of primary school teachers and improves teaching staff's ability,our country should focus on accelerating the development of elementary education.
